Lacey? Both DH and I really like the name but just can't figure out what 2nd name would go with it! Anyone got any ideas?

Lacey Rose is really pretty, that would be my first choice!

Lacey is often used as a first name, not the best example but that poor lady who killed herself on the M4 named her twins Lacey and Jessice and of course it is Stacey in Eastenders real name!

WestCountryLass · 12/01/2008 22:08

You could go the Alice in Wonderland route and have a LacIE Tillie Elsie.

Lacie being an anagram of Alice in the book.

Beauregard · 12/01/2008 22:24

Lacey may gets my vote.

Broodymumof2 · 12/01/2008 23:07

I like lacey jae and lacey may but i depends on the surname.

calzone · 16/01/2008 13:39

Jae is awful and not real. I agree with the janitor. Am relieved the OP has gone off Lacey as that is awful to.

IMHO.

BroodyBaby · 16/01/2008 14:05

WEll i'l tell my LO you feel her name isnt valid and real and see what she thinks shall i? Sorry to get all new wave, should i have stuck to margaret or mildred much more proper! I mean whats the point of being mean about a name its a subjective measure!!

A friend of mine had a baby Lacey recently and I thought it was lovely...but I would choose a more usual middle name, like Jane (not jae) or louise. My middle name is Janne, a cross between jane and anne I think. I was born in January, maybe that had something to do with it..

BroodyBaby · 16/01/2008 14:11

Sorry hormonal and sensitive...obviously...

BroodyBaby · 16/01/2008 14:20

on a pedantic note janitor JAE is a consonant and two vowels...

cosima · 16/01/2008 14:38

i think a name beginning with L also, and with 3 syllables like loretta, luella, leona, letitia. or Jo joanna josephine

cosima · 16/01/2008 14:39

by the way whenever anyone asks about middle names there are a hundred people suggesting rose or may

Well on the subject of strange names, friends of ours have called their DS Ulysses!!! It started off as a joke - the DH suggested it to DW as a joke and she really liked it and so there we go - they now have a DS called Ulysses!
