Lacey? Both DH and I really like the name but just can't figure out what 2nd name would go with it! Anyone got any ideas?

Well, my dh was always so helpful when making name suggestions...es would have been called Merlin and ms would have been called Orion....well...I stood my ground there...

lol...well, for germn standards my es and ms have normal names. Sven and Yannic are rather commonly used names in Germany

And my ys is called Flynn, so unusual but in a sort of normal way...

lol...indeed
I think unusual is good, just as classic names are fab....I suppose in the end you get used to anything.

It's kind of funny, because there are names that exist in german and english, but are differently pronounced, and pronounciation can so make a difference....
like the name Paul in english sounds fine to me...Paul (pronounced Powl)...do NOT like.

And sometimes it's not just about pronounciation....forinstance, if my Boys were raised in Germany, they may well would have been called Marvin, but living in the UK, I wouldn't do it to my child...
