Hi everyone.
Thought I'd jump on here to ask if anyone has experienced unbearable nausea in first trimester? Don't get me wrong I know about feeling "yucky" in the first few weeks. I am lucky enough to be pregnant with my 4th baby. But my goodness I've NEVER felt as rough as this!! I have three other children (all boys) 2 of them toddlers and I'm having to get help looking after them. I literally am bed bound with unbearable nausea and fatigue! I am not actually being sick but feel extreme nausea all day long and all night long. It's relentless. I am in bed all day. I am very emotional and will cry at EVERYTHING and feel as though I can't remember what it's like to feel "normal"
I know people will say it will pass and to "just get on with it" but honestly I've NEVER experienced this feeling! I'm doing all the things I've been told to do like eat often, small amounts, drink water etc but like I can't even find the energy to shower!! Let alone wash my hair!! I cry at the thought of moving as I'm so dizzy! I can't stand any smells like my husband's deodorant anymore, my candles, my poor dog has been banned away from me as his smell makes me nauseous. I just cry all day and desperate to feel better!! Please tell me someone has experienced this. I am desperate to feel even half normal again!
Thank you
Xx

Hi @nee22
I'm the same. Bed all day. In fact I've been in bed for weeks now. The only movement I do is getting up to the toilet and back to bed. And then I only go when I'm absolutely busting as getting up makes me so dizzy.
I've cried all day! How I've got any tears left I don't know.
I also have a teenager and he's actually stayed home with me this week to help get me drinks / snacks (I know such a bad mum) but honestly I have no other option. I'm 12 weeks now and I thought I would start to feel better but this week has been the worst yet!! I haven't showered on three days I just do not have the energy! Ergh Envy this is rough girls!!!! 😢

@Smile18 hope you're doing ok! I started omeprazole today and hoping it helps...

Yes! No nausea but having trouble keeping my temperature normal which I never experienced with my two previous pregnancies. I'm cold with chills then hot, can't get comfortable at night because of it ... Bit bizarre. Kind of worried because they say to avoid hot tubs etc because it raises your temperature and I can't seem to regulate mine...only 7 weeks so just wanting that first midwife appt now :) also seem to be a lot more thirsty and absolutely exhausted.
