Hi all,
1st baby, took a long a long time to conceive, finally conceived with clomid on 1st cycle.
I'm 6 weeks now and no symptoms whatsoever.. I know this has been lots of posts about this before, but I just don't believe I'm pregnant!! Or that something is wrong.
No sore boobs, no nausea, none of the obvious ones... or non obvious ones, apart from the below.
I had a TINY amount of spotting a week ago (like once when I went to the toilet), with some cramps. I still get the occasional cramp now and again, just feels like I'm going to have a period.
I've done multiple pregnancy tests, last one this morning says 3+ weeks and pretty dark positive.

Let me hear your symptom or non-symptom stories please? In need of some reassurance 😔❤️

Had no symptoms at all til six and half weeks and was still mild up til 8.weeks.and then was intermittent up til 14 weeks.

About 20% of pregnancies get zero symptoms

Bells3032 · 08/09/2021 18:36

And cramps are really normal. As long as they're not really painful and/or are fleeting then it's fine

Roonilwazlib1 · 08/09/2021 18:36

I had no symptoms early on!

At maybe 7 or 8 weeks i started with extremely mild symptoms but they didn't last long.

I'm now 20 weeks and everything is going well!

allfurcoatnoknickers · 08/09/2021 18:41

Had no symptoms until 7 weeks and then I started throwing up...and didn't stop until my c-section at 39+4 Angry.

SilverOtter · 08/09/2021 18:47

Don't worry! I was like this with my first - no symptoms and no bump until I was about six months pregnant! I wouldn't have known I was pregnant except for the lack of periods.

EllieRosesMammy · 08/09/2021 20:14

I'm currently 37 weeks with my second baby and honestly I didn't really have any symptoms till I was about 8 weeks, had about 2 weeks of sickness and then after that they went away again. Didn't feel pregnant for the majority of my second trimester either! Every pregnancy is completely different, with my 1st I had HG right from the start all the way up until I was in labour so I felt very very pregnant for the entire 40 weeks🤢 this one has mostly been a breeze, apart from the horrific heartburn between weeks 27-33 🤦‍♀️ x

Graphista · 08/09/2021 21:26

My mum had zero symptoms with me until she was almost 5 months! She was still bleeding monthly too. A bit lighter than usual but at the time she put that down to stress/being busy. She then fainted at work, dr did a test and lo behold there I was! Grin

She didn't believe him at first took some convincing

Neighbour didn't know she was pregnant until she was in Labour! I saw her a few days before, slim lady, 2 older dc and thought she was ttc no 3, woke up with stomach pains middle of the night which were initially thought to be appendicitis by the time the ambulance got there dh was tying off the cord!

I was admittedly the opposite and had symptoms before even missing a period all three times. But pregnancy 2 was twins which might explain that.

Every pregnancy is different no point worrying till you know if you need to

rttcbabyno1 · 09/09/2021 22:27

Thanks you so much for all your comments, that's really reassuring to hear.

@Graphista think you summed it up there, there's no point in worrying when I haven't got anything to worry about, I just can't get out of my own head sometimes. I've managed to get an early scan booked for Monday, so keeping everything crossed for that, I'd like to see what's going on.

It's so strange how everyone is so different, don't get me wrong I'm not wishing me feeling terrible in pregnancy, but just having some sort of confirmation for myself rather than just a stick would be great lol. Such a weird time. Thanks again xx

I remember this feeling well!!! My main symptom early on was no symptoms as daft as that sounds!!! They will come believe me x

rttcbabyno1 · 10/09/2021 00:07

@Workinghardeveryday thank you! I hope they do lol. When did your symptoms come can I ask? Xx

You hear loads of stories about women not even knowing they are pregnant until they are in labour. Please don't worry. I've seen so many different threads about this. It's totally normal not to have overwhelming symptoms early on. Also spotting and light cramping is totally normal. If you are worried you can always talk it through with your midwife. All will be well and congratulations.

Workinghardeveryday · 10/09/2021 16:09

@rttcbabyno1 I can’t remember totally but I think about 8 weeks, felt hungover - sickly all day, extremely tired and generally crap! Until about 16 weeks then felt more like myself. Second time was twins so double the amount of hormones but didn’t feel rubbish until around 8 weeks too x

Workinghardeveryday · 10/09/2021 16:10

Oh yes, I had spotting and cramping all the way through both times

rttcbabyno1 · 11/09/2021 15:24

Since my first post, I've taken more pregnancy tests and now they are getting a bit lighter. I hope it's this 'hook effect' that's happening. I will stop testing now. Keeping my fingers crossed for Monday early scan 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 I'm 6 weeks 4 days according to my last period. No cramping or bleeding or anything, continuing to have no symptoms. Not feeling very positive about it 😞🤞🏻xx

I felt the same at 6 weeks. Then my sickness kicked in and lasted until about 16 weeks. Make the most of not having any symptoms x

sexesam · 11/09/2021 23:35

I am 9 weeks and no symptoms except no period. I only found out this week when I realised I dint have one in August. This is my 3rd pregnancy and the only system I have ever had is slight nausea when confronted with strong smells.
Hope all is well and your just lucky like me. (FYI, the paranoia does decrease after scans but never truly goes away, just morphs through the pregnancy)

Shootingstar11 · 12/09/2021 02:04

Hope everything is ok OP.
I had zero symptoms and now have a healthy 5 week old. It was only in the third trimester I started to feel really pregnant!

Cafeaulait27 · 12/09/2021 02:51

I had symptoms come and go but they were never particularly strong, I’m now 35 weeks.

Don’t worry about symptoms, and the cramps you’re feeling may be due to your uterus stretching which is in itself a symptom and a good thing ☺️

Hope your scan goes well. Xx

SareBear87 · 12/09/2021 08:38

Following with interest! I'm 6+2 with my 1st and only symptoms are missing period (with positive pg test), tender boobs and being slightly more tired than usual.

I don't feel anything else and am trying to hold off for another week before having a private scan but I'm really nervous something is wrong!

This one took an age to conceive after a couple of CPs so I'm very anxious!

rttcbabyno1 · 12/09/2021 09:57

Thanks so much for all the messages, it's reassuring to know that not everyone g s symptoms until later on. I hope i get symptoms soon though!
I have everything crossed for tomorrow. Just need to know if anything is going on down there.
@SareBear87 your only two days behind me we sound very alike, I've only had one CP as far as I'm aware, although I've never been one for testing. Took me 1 year + to conceive this with ovulation medication 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 the anxiety is driving me crazy. One way or another the anxiety will disappear tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻(hopefully in the good way!!) xx

OP posts:
rttcbabyno1 · 12/09/2021 10:15

I'm clinging onto the fact I've had no painful cramping or bleeding, so that's a good thing xx 🤞🏻

sexesam · 12/09/2021 10:36

I forgot to add one system I do have which you hopefully do to which may reassure you. I have more 'mucas' down below that normal.

KingdomScrolls · 12/09/2021 10:44

I didn't know I was pregnant until I was ten weeks! Not everyone gets noticeable symptoms, looking back I think I might've been peeing a bit more and a bit thirstier, but nothing I really thought about at the time. It was only when I started putting on weight and realised I'd skipped a couple of periods I thought I'd better do a test.

rttcbabyno1 · 12/09/2021 12:27

@sexesam thanks but no, none of that either 🙁 xx

OP posts:
rttcbabyno1 · 12/09/2021 12:29

All I've had is literally missed period (number 1 symptom lol), cramps and slight spotting at week 5. Occasional cramp since but nothing else.
