What do you actually use muslins for?

I keep hearing people rave about how much you need to have muslin cloths but what they don't say is what do you actually use them for, apart from wiping babies face? Do I need them if I plan on FF? Do I just put them over baby while feeding them to avoid spills on them or are bibs better? I won't need them for swaddling as I've got separate items for that. FTM!

I never used them with DC1, and was confused about why people recommend them. Then I had DC2, who was sick several times a day for the first few months, they got a lot of use. Definitely depends on the baby though, so maybe just get one pack and but more if you need them.

I still use mine now for wiping faces and hands- kids are in primary school! Reusable eco- friendly wipes- you betcha.

Sooooo much sick clean up for my refluxy baby!

I also used them as nappies when my son was teeny.

They're great for mopping up spilt drinks which you or they will inevitably knock over.
Great as dolly/toy blankets when they're a bit older.
