Am 40 so have been called. My consultant gynaecologist told me to wait until 2nd trimester. Was a bit gutted, really want too get on with getting it, but I also really don't want to screw up this pregnancy. I am moderate risk.

Also asked midwife, who seemed keen for me to get on and have it until I told her who had told me to wait. My gynae clearly v respected locally.

Once she says I'm allowed I'll be getting it like a shot, though.

Ahh we’re SW England @FTEngineerM in a place with very high pensioner population so I think they’ve not got that many under 40s in the area & are able to let us be more choosy Grin

I'm not going to have it while pregnant. I've been feeling very unwell while pregnant, and my mother had some dreadful side effects (high temperature, racing pulse, etc) and ended up going to hospital in an ambulance. I'm not worried about long term effects, but I worry about being that ill while pregnant. No one in our household works outside the home or goes to school, so our risk of contracting covid is low.

Will not be having it under any circumstances while I'm pregnant. Will have it at a later date.

I've just been notified that I'm eligible. Am delaying as have recently recovered from Covid and still feel quite raw and below par. Once I get back to feeling 'solid' again, I'll go for it.
