I'm 11 weeks pregnant just now, nauseous and grumpy. My DP is a lovely man but he seems to enjoy standing exactly in the spot I am trying to get to in the flat. We live in a tiny place and whenever I'm trying to put a dish away/get clothes/go to the toilet, there he is standing in the doorway, looking on his phone or eating a biscuit. It drives me BONKERS but I know I'm a hormonal mess. Any other annoying habits?

Anytime he leaves a room I get severely annoyed, I was the same pregnant with my first I just seem get insanely clingy and miss him even when he’s just in the loo, must drive him mental.

Nesski · 05/05/2021 20:35

Honestly? Sometimes the way he breathed annoyed me....

Hoppinggreen · 05/05/2021 20:38

He breathed
Seriously though I have super smell abilities and they were crazy when I was pg. I really struggled with even the slightest bad smell. I used to ask him to poo at work!
I hated his deodorant AND his sweaty pits poor man

Rose2108 · 05/05/2021 20:39

Omg the heavy breathing through his nose. It's awful. Especially when he's eating, he sounds like Darth Vader. I had to say something to him last week and he said I made him feel self conscious which I felt bad about... But also didn't 🤣

romdowa · 05/05/2021 20:39

Since I've been sick with hg he has had to do a lot of the housework and he does such a half arse job that it drives me insane 🙈🙈 the last day I found him just standing there watching a baked potato cook in the microwave while the Sink was full of dirty dishes. He is doing his best but I'm just sick and cranky and frustrated that I cant do much .

mayblossominapril · 05/05/2021 20:42

Cooking and eating breakfast. I made him cook it on the bbq and eat it in the garden.

LaMadrilena · 05/05/2021 20:45

Encouraging me to eat crap even after having high blood sugar detected. Apparently he knows far better than the doctors and it's nothing to worry about because it was only a borderline positive...

Also, morning breath the first few weeks when I had MS. And chewing noises.

RiverSkater · 05/05/2021 20:46

The fact that he drank more than he ever did.

LadyCluck · 05/05/2021 20:47

Loud breathing
Loud chewing
Whinging when he felt tired or his back hurt Hmm

MissLucyEyelesbarrow · 05/05/2021 20:48

The conception Wink

EssentialHummus · 05/05/2021 20:52

Eating. Cooking. Breathing. It’s gotten to the stage where he uses the toaster on an outside windowsill.

More seriously, reminding me how much he’d like us to be intimate. I’m 14 weeks with twins, huge, morning sickness non-stop, can smell him breathing at 100 paces... just no.

WantingAnother · 05/05/2021 20:53

11 weeks tomorrow

DH always moves the tea towel in the kitchen when we’re in there. And never puts it back where it belongs! So I’ll wash my hands and go to dry them and it’ll be across the kitchen on the side next to him! Every single time!!! So so annoying- just put it back where it belongs!

He does this with other stuff too, never puts things where they go and it winds me up so much haha

Also I see things on the stairs and take them up or down as I’m going. He seems to think they’re there for decoration and just steps right over them..... So who’s going to put them away, the housework fairy?!?!

DisgruntledPelican · 05/05/2021 20:54

Saying he was tired/hadn’t slept well, after I’d been awake since 2am with hip pain and had to get out of bed to sit on the sofa Hmm

Asking me if I was OK (NO I AM NOT OK STOP ASKING ME)

That was all, though.

Jade86 · 05/05/2021 21:04

My DP is doing everything that annoys me. Breathing to loud, moving too much in bed, you name it he’s doing it and it’s really on my last nerve. Best is this pregnancy has been hard on me 😡

andivfmakes3 · 05/05/2021 21:10

Existing

(To be fair I had a very difficult high risk twin pregnancy)

Worriesome · 05/05/2021 23:36

For me it was the breathing, the smell of his breath, just him living, him being able to eat and me not x

FTM91 · 06/05/2021 11:03

Sitting so close to me on the sofa, not leaning on me, but close enough that my elbow is pinned between me and him.

also breathing Grin

Goatgirl91 · 06/05/2021 20:44

All I want to do is go to sleep and no matter how late he comes to bed he sits on his phone for like half an hour. The light and his incessant tapping drives me insane!! He also does this when we put a film on for the entire film. I do not understand how one person can scroll through Reddit for so long! Tbf this annoyed me before being pregnant but now I want to kill him Grin

ShireMama · 06/05/2021 20:44

When he says he is exhausted and needs a daytime nap... 😐

tigerbread20 · 06/05/2021 20:46

His general presence or lack of presence of he dared go out Grin

THATbasicSNOWFLAKE · 06/05/2021 20:46

Sleeping peacefully Envy

bubblebath62636 · 06/05/2021 20:47

Not wanting to shag me since about 12 weeks 😂

In his defense I am huge and pregnant with his dd.

shash1982 · 06/05/2021 20:50

Breathing in bed!

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 06/05/2021 21:09

The fact that he wasn't made of Branston pickle, frankly... #cravings

climbershell · 09/05/2021 16:22

Blowing his nose, so loudly, its horrible pre pregnancy, but makes me feel sick now! Sometimes he even does it as he enters the room, ffs do it elsewhere, then come in!!

Leaving cinnamon bagels on the worktop, I used to love them but the sight makes me feel ill. His bloody coffee 🤢

Loud snoring at night, which has been relentless the last 6 weeks or so, and he won't go to the doctor. I'm convinced he needs surgery in his nose.

Often tbh, just breathing! Or eating a little noisily
