What infuriated you most about your dp when you were pregnant?

I'm 11 weeks pregnant just now, nauseous and grumpy. My DP is a lovely man but he seems to enjoy standing exactly in the spot I am trying to get to in the flat. We live in a tiny place and whenever I'm trying to put a dish away/get clothes/go to the toilet, there he is standing in the doorway, looking on his phone or eating a biscuit. It drives me BONKERS but I know I'm a hormonal mess. Any other annoying habits?

He buggers off to work (works away from home) and leaves me alone with 5 kids a dog and pregnant, likes to phone me and gripe about how hard done by he is. All I can think is, oh diddums. Doesn't help much around the house when he is here, he does maintain the cars and appliances. Because I binned off sex after some terrifying spotting he's been less helpful, no offering to bath kids or empty the bins, right sulky fucker when he doesn't get any.

He enjoys fizzy drinks and will frequently burp. His burps are really aggressive and make me want to throw up

He’s also ALWAYS tired and constantly seems to want to compete over who has it worse. Even though he never wins (I’m 34 weeks pregnant with lots of shitty symptoms).

He does jobs soooo meticulously and is perpetually lacking any urgency. Last time we both built flat pack bedside tables I’d finished mine before he’d even checked all his pieces.

In our relationship I’m the ‘proactive doer’ and DH is the ‘methodical planner’ I get really really really frustrated when I’m pregnant and have to rely on him to get stuff done! He acts like I’m bullying him if I try to chivy him past 5mph

However, he is a lovely wonderful human too and currently doing pretty much everything with our 14 month old. He’s a fab dad. Can’t multi task for shit so looking after DS is ALL he does but he is doing a very good job. Can’t complain.

Nothing honestly, he is amazing.
