There’s a few separate threads with people due in January so I thought I’d try and bring us all together under one roof :)

Can someone check my maths... so I know we had fertilisation (IVF) on 15th April but they always add on 2 weeks so that makes 1st April "day 1" am I right in saying 40 weeks is then 6th Jan? Have I added correctly? Is pregnancy 38 weeks + 2 or is it 40 weeks in which case as I know it was 15th am I actually due 20th?? So confused....

The 40 weeks is meant to be from your last period starting so the 6th sounds closer to it! I don't know exactly how IVF works in terms of when you ovulate or after because the embryos are already a few dyas old...?

Wow, its 3.25am and I'm awake, eating dry bread and drinking mint tea for the cramps/headache/nausea 🤢. This second baby is definitely making its presence felt already. I don't remember the symptoms happening this quickly the first time around.

It depends on the age of your embryo (day 3/day 5 etc) and the day you and your transfer. If it's a day 5 then the day you get transfer you are effectively 2+5 weeks pregnant. There are a few ivf due date calculators online that help I had transfer 20th April of a day 5 embryo and I'm currently due 6th Jan

@willithappen no way!! I had transfer on 20th of 5 day embryo! We're IVF and due date twins!! At least you've worked it out the same as me due on 6th then! X

Hey just thought I would look on here for some reassurance and its so nice to find this with people due the same time!
I'm due Jan 4th and its my first so I am definitely freaking out about every twinge but has anyone had stomach cramps like period pains? I've had them for over a week some are quite bad, they dont last long so I am trying not to panic

@Flatty Hey, I've had stomach ache and mild period pains on and off since I got my BFP which was on Tuesday. If you're worried maybe call and speak to someone? But I'm sure it's probably all normal - I've read lots of things about how much 'stretching' takes place in the first trimester xx

How's everyone doing? I think I'm mostly still in the can't believe it stage and apart from some mild cramping I'm just so tired constantly. I've had to start having naps!

@Madeoftea Yes I'm napping too! Although not very easy with a wild 2 year old running around 😅
I was EXHAUSTED when I was pregnant with my son, it eased around 14 weeks I think and then I had a burst of energy!
I've got pretty sore boobs and I'm really bloated at the end of everyday too.
I've also got the stuffy nose (pregnancy rhinitis I think it's called)? Xx

I'm the exact same as @Confused678866 so sore boobs & nipples, stuffy nose (that's what made me test early) and tired, not napping just yet tho!!
Took another clear blue today and got 2-3 wks, I'm 4w 1d so I'm happy levels are progressing.
