Just because these are my favorite threads.

What is the most ridiculous reason you cried at during pregnancy?

I'll start:
Me and my partner were watching a stand up comedy special on Netflix the other week and we were laughing so much at it that I started ugly crying as I was having such a nice evening.

@CJ14 with my first i cried because the batteries died in the remote and I had to get up to replace them and with my second I cried because I put Mayo in my tea and honey in my sandwich

PinkCookie11 · 29/04/2021 18:52

I cried because my DP had to ride his bike to work.

LemonLemonLemon · 29/04/2021 18:57

We drove past a really nice looking cottage with a thatched roof and beautiful garden. I sobbed thinking about how well the owners had taken care of their house

MrsB2019x · 29/04/2021 19:51

I wanted a rotisserie chicken, the queue to get into the first shop was ridiculously long so we drove to another and their oven was switched off. It genuinely ruined my entire day and was sat in the car crying ☹️

jupeBex · 29/04/2021 19:54

I've lost count of the things I've cried over now, a photo of a dog taking his last visit to his favourite park before being PTS, and cried like a baby watching stick man with my nieces ( the part when he gets carried away to sea oh my god)

PatMustardsBigTool · 29/04/2021 19:55

So many things made me cry in my 3 pregnancies, but my favourite has to be when I was watching a football testimonial match and the player who's testimonial it was scored a goal. Full on sobbing , I was so happy for him!

I don't even like football and was home alone... why was I even watching?!

TaVeryMuchLove · 29/04/2021 19:57

My bath wasn’t exactly the right temperature I wanted it to be.

Merename · 29/04/2021 20:09

Loads but I remember fondly my friend who would cry hearing the football results on the radio, feeling sad for the teams who lost Grin

ElmtreeMama · 29/04/2021 20:13

I cried because I'd finished my Dr Pepper and I wish I'd made it last!

Nat4392 · 29/04/2021 20:30

I cried because I smelled my husbands glass of red wine.

I also cried because I love my cat so much.

LunaDreams · 29/04/2021 20:52

I cried because my partner playfully pulled one of my slippers off and my foot got cold.

FirstTimeScared · 30/04/2021 07:44

Where to start, tv programs, films, no bread and I wanted ham sandwich, seeing a puppy on what I'm assuming was its first walk, babies hahahaha loads make me cry and its proper ugly crying too. Dropping the step kids at school near mothers day and they were doing mothers day tributes, I was a right mess when I got home. Can you imagine the other cars thinking something major happened. No I was just listening to the radio 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷‍♀️ hormones gotta love them 😁

rbetty · 30/04/2021 16:44

I cried when the group of people won the money on the chase. I also cried when the cat got on my bed and got hair on it just after I changed the sheets. I cried because the chocolate muffin was so nice. Cried when I went to the pub for the first time since lockdown in December. I could go on......I've never been such a wimp

InTheNightWeWillWish · 30/04/2021 16:51

Because I no longer liked pineapple.

TooMinty · 30/04/2021 17:03

Because I saw a sad picture of Kermit the Frog...

Dying at this Grin

Me and OH were watching old skool tunes on YouTube today and we put Eminem - Mockingbird on and I had to leave the room to cry! The lyrics are quite poignant. Lol. (I’m 8 weeks)

MustBeTheWine · 30/04/2021 18:09

With DS1 it was Because I looked pregnant when I was 7 months pregnant. As silly as that sounds. Bought a dress for a wedding, looked in the mirror and burst into tears. Took DP a good hour to calm me down and kept telling me "but you are pregnant" god knows what was going on with me that day 😂

With DS2 I had a mental break down at the dinner table because we hadn't ordered any baby bottles (6 months pregnant). DP ended up having to get someone to cover his shift at work because he couldn't leave as I was in such a state. We went to get baby bottles the next day 😂

Nanasueathome · 30/04/2021 18:18

I cried with my first because he wasn’t born on my due date
The date I was expecting him to be here

Dyra · 30/04/2021 18:35

I cried because I wanted Coco Pops for breakfast (we didn't have any) and I didn't have time to eat them (baby brain) before I had to go to work. I then broke down further when I realised that my work also didn't have Coco Pops (still doesn't Sad), which meant I wouldn't be getting any that day.

I got my Coco Pops a few days later. I was too busy inhaling eating them to cry that I finally had some thankfully.

Luckyelephant1 · 30/04/2021 21:15

Cried when we didn't have any cucumber for my cheese and cucumber sandwich. Which is something I never eat but randomly wanted one. Can cry endlessly at funny dog videos as they're just so pure.

Not a funny one and I'm sure many people felt sad but I was a mess seeing the queen sat by herself at her husbands funeral. If I wasn't pregnant I probably would have welled up a bit but I was literally bawling my eyes out and even thinking about it a few days later made me a bit tearful.

Dyra · 30/04/2021 21:24

I thought of another one. I cried while watching Crufts. The fly ball dogs were all having so much fun, but not all of them could win. Yup.

GrowThroughWhatYouGoThrough · 30/04/2021 21:29

I left my giraffe bread (what Sainsbury's use to call tiger bred) at the checkout got home and sobbed my husband went and got another one 😂

user1471453601 · 30/04/2021 21:32

I cried at The Price is Right. It was the look on their faces when they were told to "come on down".

My Sister looked at me and told me to get a fucking grip. In my defence, I was five weeks into radiotherapy and so very tired.

WeavingWandering · 01/05/2021 13:48

Full on sobbing because I worried my child might have to ‘come out’ to me rather than just knowing that I will love them beyond words - that gender and who they love are just part of who they are

My poor mother rushed over thinking something had happened and I was sobbing too hard to even begin to explain .

PrincessPrawn · 01/05/2021 21:11

I full-on ugly cried watching the Remembrance Sunday ceremony, because Tony Blair looked old...!!
