So short story, I had mc last January and got BFP earlier this week, am currently CD 35 & cant stop panicking with every wee twinge or cramp that its going to happen again!

I'm 42 and well aware of that clock, this I consider is my last chance & I really just want this one to be the one that sticks!

Is it normal to feel this way? Did any of u feel the same, analysing every wee thing?

Well I'm not confident at all, I just had a feeling yesterday, weird achy feeling lower tummy, I kept checking in the loo & had a v tiny beige streak but no bleeding & to top it all off total loss of symptoms, I reckon it's all over

@gizmo167 thinking of you. If you're almost six weeks can you see if you can get an EPU referral on Monday to see what's going on?

gizmo167 · 12/02/2021 12:55

Not sure they would see me anyway @DappledOliveGroves, they didn't last time & I was only a day off 6 weeks & was bleeding at that stage

@gizmo167 keeping my fingers crossed for you. Symptoms come and go so hopefully everything is still okay. Try EPU on Monday, if you have to just move your LMP date a couple of days to get seen. EPU where I live saw me when I had my CP and I was definitely under 6 weeks.

gizmo167 · 12/02/2021 14:16

Thanks @InDreamland really dont think I'll have any need, started to spot v light brown & feel like I've done 1000 sit ups so know what's happening

@gizmo167 I really hope that isn't the case and that it is just implantation bleeding and womb stretching. I had a fair bit of brown spotting and pink when I wiped in the first 8 weeks of my last pregnancy and everything was fine as I now have DD.

Colacrisp · 13/02/2021 07:32

Sorry I have been AWOL, annoying dropped my phone and has now decided it doesn't want to work

@gizmo167 I just wanted to let you know that it can be normal! When I originally posted on here I had the exact same thing, cramping around the lower belly sore back all the symptoms I had by mc last time along with spotting (which was dark brown changed to beige then a dark brown still now) I was 6 weeks when that started. The sonographer at my private scan saw the path the bleeding came from and was just later implantation blood of the sac bedding in and getting comfy.

I'm still getting the spotting now

Call your EPU just to see what they say...or both my MC and my scare I went to a&e (we have a primary care like a walk in attached to our a&e) and they referred me

Tell them you are experiencing cramps, spotting and you feel the same way you did when you miscarried...if they are like my hospital they will see you and EPU were very understanding xx

InDreamland · 16/02/2021 09:48

@gizmo167 how are you? I hope everything is okay.

gizmo167 · 16/02/2021 10:30

Hi @InDreamland sadly I was right, started bleeding on Sunday, number 2 in just a year, almost exactly same CD as the last, its just not meant to be x

@gizmo167 oh no I'm so so sorry to hear this. That is just so sad. I hope you are being good to yourself. Take all the time you need to heal physically and emotionally. It's just horrible and I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you will have your rainbow x

everydaysablessing · 16/02/2021 11:36

So sorry for your loss @gizmo167

I understand , I had two mc before my DD and was so worried it would never happen but it did. That pregnancy was horrific in terms of worry and anxiety but it can still happen for you.

gizmo167 · 16/02/2021 12:40

Thanks @indreamland & @everydaysablessing appreciate that x

Not sure how I feel atm but I dont think I'll try again, probably just my body's way of telling me I'm too old x

Hi @gizmo167 I’m so sorry for your loss. If you want to try again then do, don’t worry about your age. My mum was 42 when she had me and it’s kept her young xxx

InDreamland · 17/02/2021 19:19

@gizmo167 right now I don't blame you, it's a lot to deal with. Maybe though you will have a surprise pregnancy with happy ending. I know a couple of people a couple of years older than you who fell pregnant (surprise unplanned) and had healthy babies so it is possible. You don't have to make a decision now though, focus on you and healing x

gizmo167 · 23/02/2021 12:54

Thanks girls, really appreciate the support. Bleeding all gone now, cant bring myself to do a test to see it clear but I think all has definitely passed x

@gizmo167 sending you virtual hugs! Hope you're coping as well as you can do in the circumstances, it's truly a horrid thing to have to deal with. Hope you're being kind to yourself and I'm still hopeful you will have a lovely rainbow x
