Has anyone done the Sneak Peek test?

I sent mine off yesterday but I wish I read the Trust Pilot reviews!!

Apparently male dna can really easily contaminate the test!

I made sure I was on my own- I used disinfectant and bleach to wipe down the package and surface- washed my hands etc.

I had a hot bath and scrubbed my nails with the brush etc loads!

I didn't even touch a towel just in case 😂 I ran downstairs naked without touching anything to then get the inside of the test kit out and to then do the blood etc.

I found it so hard for the blood not to go under my nail! The blood was so fast flowing.

So it's probably contaminated 😂

Guess I'll find out in a week!!!

Any other people had success with these?

Ive done one and awaiting the results.
I read the reviews on trust pilot too which are mostly awful but then i always take things with a pinch of salt as i work in customs services and know that people moan all the time even when its their own fault.
As you say as long as you've wiped down the area you'll be fine, not that you use much area that can be contaminated as you do everything out of the box. I read the reviews on Facebook which were all good and I'm also in a pregnancy Facebook group where the reviews are also good which made me want to get one.

They do give a full refund if incorrect too which fills me with hope that its genuine.

Oh absolutely, I'm getting one of those too 😂 I'm so impatient. My husband told me not to buy the sneak peek and waste money... so i brought one anyway and not told him so will have to act surprised at the scan! Haha i know i know, I'm a terrible wife

I was really tempted to do this, but I saw the reviews too and went against it! I'm interested to see how accurate it is though

I did sneak peak! Results took a while but we did it for fun , gender scan in 3 weeks will update if correct !

@littlepeaegg i sent it off on Friday so hoping for an acknowledgement of them receiving it today 🤞🏼 then hopefully the results in the next day or two

Yes, told me my DD was a boy but this was quite a few years ago.

Oh actually mine was called pink or blue but I think it’s the same thing.
Great money making scheme-just charge everyone £100 and tell them all they’re all having a boy. Roughly half will be wrong and you refund without question citing contamination and showing yourself to be a reputable company. Still get to keep have the money for doing absolutely nothing with the samples other than disposing of them.

@littlepeaegg haha me too! All last night i just kept refreshing my emails.
One of the girls on a FB group I'm on sent hers the same day as me (Friday) and she got hers back last night. She said its sent to California so have to take into account their time difference so their 8am-4pm will be our 4pm-12am! So we won't get our results until the evening. Its got to be today 🤞🏼

Do you have children already? What are you hoping for? I have a girl already and was hoping for her to have a sister but now I'm quite liking the idea of a boy! Its so exciting.

@ThickThighsSaveLives we have a 9 year old boy so I really would love a girl!!
I have a feeling that because there's two males in the house it'll probably come back as boy either way!! I've read so many reviews about that; definitely will have gender scan at 16 weeks!!

@littlepeaegg i think if it comes back as a girl its probably pretty accurate but if it comes back as a boy it's abit hmmm questionable.
I'm having a 16 week scan too.

@pinkandblueflowers its a blood test you do yourself at home with a finger prick (well its more like a slice lol) from 8 weeks that will determine the gender of the baby

Yes I did it and it was correct. However, I had mine done through sneak peek as a blood test in a clinic which makes it 99.9% accurate.

I did it and it was accurate (boy) but it took ages for the result. Things might have improved in 2 years though.

For reference, I had mine done at 5pm on a Monday and I had the results at about 1am on Thursday.

Ahh thank you! I'm hoping to get mine before the weekend. I did the ramzi theory and it said boy and I think it's a boy too! So we shall see what this test says. I have a gender scan booked when I'm 16wk on 7th March too!! X

Still patiently waiting 😅
