12 weeks scan girl or boy

I had my scan at 12 weeks 4 days , Was very surprised as sonographer said i think its a boy.. any guesses ? Can they really tell this early..

I'm tempted to say girl don't ask me why 😁 congratulations

Definitely will, i feel girl too but i was shocked when the sonographer said boy she seemed very sure 🙄

It's the angle plus it's not forked it's stacked just looks a bit forky from that view.

Oh i dont really mind i have a boy and girl allready 😄 Just shocked at how she could know at 12 week scan..
with my dd i was told boy at 20 weeks with nhs scan so it was a big shock when she popped out 😄

I was told boy at my 12 week scan .... at my 20 week was told girl and confirmed with a 4D scan at 28 weeks - she was a girl

Oh really was it nhs or private.. i never asked with my other two because i thought they wouldnt look or guess but she offered to say it this time so we went ahead

I didn't ask at the 12 week he just said oh this ones a boy 100%

That’s quite rude to just come out and say without asking if you want to know. Some people like it kept a surprise.

The sonographer may have seen better images of the nub than you see in the pictures here. I don’t think that is clearly a boy just from these images but they may have had more to go on.

@Jchina i asked her if it was the nub and skull theory she said no i can see something here , pointing between the legs 😱 i thought it wouldnt be very visible at this gestation but who knows
