Hey guys,

I'm currently 6 weeks 3 days pregnant and apart from acne, sore boobs and tiredness, I've not had any other symptoms. I wouldn't even know I'm pregnant if I hadn't had a million positive tests! I just feel like I would feel coming up to my period.

I have read that at 6 weeks you normally start getting nausea, and I haven't at all. I am sooo worried something has gone wrong :( has anyone else been in a similar situation, is this normal? I'm sooo worried because I had an early miscarriage a couple of months ago so the anxiety is realllll with this pregnancy. Always worried, always anxious 😔 I know I should enjoy and be happy that I'm not feeling sick, but I can't help worry that its because something isn't right

I never had any nausea with my pregnancies. I didn't really have any symptoms at all, and my kids are both very healthy adults now. Symptoms or lack thereof does not indicate whether or not you have a healthy pregnancy.

MooseBeTimeForSummer · 11/11/2020 23:50

Never any nausea here either. Just sore boobs and a bit of tiredness.

Somewhereelsewhere · 12/11/2020 00:18

I didn’t have any nausea, or sore boobs once during pregnancy. My boobs didn’t feel even a tiny bit sore once.
Not having nausea is not a sign that anything will go wrong!
Being worried is definitely a sign of pregnancy though!!

Oh and nausea from what I understand is more likely to kick in at 7/8wks. Hopefully you’ll stay nausea-free but it really is early days..

lola1246 · 12/11/2020 00:30

This could be me writing this post. I am 6 weeks 5 days no sickness. Just slightly sore boobs. I think I may be earlier than I think as I think I ovulated late so this may be the same for you. Try not to worry ❤️

PastMyBestBeforeDate · 12/11/2020 00:33

3 pregnancies. No nausea. No aversion to food or drink.

ParkheadParadise · 12/11/2020 00:34

Never had any Nausea with both my pregnancies.
I didn't find out I was pregnant with dd2 until I was 5months🤣🤣

Nandocushion · 12/11/2020 00:52

No nausea ever for me either.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/11/2020 05:34

@GlasgwegianMama I am 6 +5 and I've been so so worried about no sickness! I've been praying for it to come! Well.... don't do it, I've woken up this morning and it has hit me like a train x

TheDaydreamBelievers · 12/11/2020 06:01

A third of pregnant ladies get no nausea at all @GlasgwegianMama! Just the nauseated ones post more! I have had zero nausea and now 11 weeks. Have seen wee bean on a scan last week. My mum was the same .

@GlasgwegianMama it's alright. Some people Dont get it. My friends mum didn't have nausea with her or her brother.

And a friend of mine didn't get it until 9 weeks. Pregnancy is different for everyone.

Dowermouse · 12/11/2020 07:56

Give it a week and it will probably hit you like a brick.
Honestly, it can be so utterly debilitating, physically and mentally I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Moo678 · 12/11/2020 08:59

I’m the opposite. I’ve had 7 miscarriages and 3 successful pregnancies - was sick as a dog from a couple of days before my period was due in all of them. So I don’t think nausea is a useful indicator either way. I would just enjoy not feeling sick of you can Flowers

Diglett567 · 12/11/2020 09:10

My nausea didn't kick in until around 8/9 weeks, just had massive sore boobs at week 6. I've had friends who've had no morning sickness at all.
Pregnancy symptoms are different for everyone so try not to worry yourself about it. So much harder said than done when you get something into your head I know!

MrsG30 · 12/11/2020 09:29

That’s really normal not to have it at 6 weeks and is no indication of things going wrong, although I understand your anxiety - it’s so hard to enjoy not feeling sick when you’re so anxious.

My first son I only ever had sore boobs, that was it!

I’m 18 weeks pregnant with baby 2. At 6 weeks I could have written your post. At 8 weeks I developed hyperemesis gravidarum and still suffering now 😔

MsHedgehog · 12/11/2020 10:17

Enjoy it whilst you can!!! Trust me!!!

I was equally paranoid at 6 weeks, as I had no symptoms at all, not even sore boobs! It hit me in week 7 and it was horrible! Enjoy your last few days of being nausea free (assuming you'll get nausea and sickness at all!)

SnuggyBuggy · 12/11/2020 10:18

I was 7-8 weeks, there is still time for it to kick in or you might get lucky and avoid it.

Copernico · 12/11/2020 10:29

I remember feeling worried like you are and then my nausea kicked in around week 9 or 10 and lasted the entire pregnancy. I’ll never wish for that again! A fair amount of people don’t get morning sickness at all.

MustStopSnacking28 · 12/11/2020 10:31

I had no nausea or sickness with my 2 year old DS but just had a MMC a few weeks ago and was sick every day until I had surgical management. I wouldn’t worry - everyone is different. Fingers crossed you are just super lucky!

Yesyoudoknowme · 12/11/2020 10:32

Never had any morning sickness with either of my two - be eternally grateful - I was Grin

GlasgwegianMama · 22/11/2020 09:09

Hey guys, So sorry for taking a while to reply and thank you so much to everyone for your lovely comments, it has been so reassuring!! I had an early scan a few days after posting this and everything looked absolutely fine! I wish more people knew that not having any sickness isn’t a bad sign cos I had no idea, all I read was that having sickness is a sign of a healthy pregnancy! xx

Last time I was pregnant, the nausea didn't really kick in until about 8 weeks. And it really did kick in.

sleepwhenidie · 22/11/2020 09:14

3 pregnancies, 3 healthy babies, no nausea or food aversions with any of them, just sore boobs and feeling absolutely knackered in 1st trimester. Please don’t worry Flowers

CoalCraft · 22/11/2020 09:26

Yeah,bI remember reading on a few sites that a full 1 in 3 healthy pregnancies are not affected by significant nausea - nausea is not guaranteed and not having it doesn't mean anything important!

I think so many people are anxious to reassure mums who are sick lots that it won't hurt their baby that they forget to reassure mums who don't feel poorly.
