Ladies age 37/38 and pregnant how long did it take?

I have a son who is 7 and I fell first try! I know it will not be that way now so wondering how long it has taken you all?

I’m 38 and fell pregnant after 3months, we weren’t properly TTC so counting myself lucky

Within 3 months both times

This is our 3rd DC and it happened within 3 months. My other 2 each took the best part of a year to conceive despite us being younger. Go figure!

First try a few months before my 39th birthday.

2nd month.

Roughly two years for us (with a bit of a gap when i changed jobs). Now 37 and pregnant. They say past 35 if trying for more than 6 months then contact GP. We did that but only after 18 months and were part way through tests to check for any physical problems when we got pregnant

Pregnant with second child at 37. Took a year to conceive. We started consultation process for IVF as have history of 5 miscarriages. The first step at the clinic was to send us to their nutritionist. We followed her advice very closely and fell pregnant the next month.

Got pregnant at 38 after 2 months.

2 years for us.

I’m 37 next month, and 10 weeks pregnant. Conceived within 3 months of trying

First 15 months age 38. Second first roll of the dice with the last egg of my thirties and 40 when I got BFP! First is still a baby so a shock but a good one

I’m 37 - took a year to the day I had my coil removed.

I became pregnant first try age 38 but miscarried. I was pregnant again after 3 months trying after that but sadly miscarried again. I’m now pregnant (33 weeks) age 39 after 4 months trying.

37, first cycle after coil removed. First child.

I’m 37 and currently pregnant, I turned 37 at around 16 weeks. I got pregnant first go earlier in the year but miscarried at 7 weeks. We tried again right away and I fell pregnant again right away. My other two children who are 3 and 4 were conceived first go too. I did anticipate it’d take longer or something potentially going wrong due to age (which it did technically with miscarrying) but if you fell pregnant right away last time the chances are it’ll happen pretty quickly, even if you are 7 years older.

Hi @universal83 wow you're exactly the same as me, I'm 37 pregnant with my 2nd & also have a 7 year old. I was surprised to fall pregnant straight away 1st time round age 29 as I have always had very irregular cycles & had no idea when I was ovulating.
This time I thought we wouldn't get that lucky again especially being over 35.But tried for 2 months then took a break as I started a new job. First time of trying again i got pregnant a couple of months before I turned 37. I'm now 37 weeks 😊
If you got pregnant quickly before then fingers crossed you should be the same again 🤞

Took me 5mths at 39 and then 18mths at 41-42.
Currently 24wks pregnant and baby will be born when I'm 42.

I'm 38, 29 weeks with DC3, caught first month. But I caught first month with the first two as well so I could just be lucky!

Not me, but a family member got pregnant within the first month at 37. Good luck!

DS1 at 34 took us 4.5 years, DC2 at 37 took 1 try 🤷‍♀️

Hi, my DS conceived at 37, took about 5/6 mths, but I think that was purely down to lack of trying 😁

I was lucky both times - first time at 35 and first time at 39 -
