Ladies age 37/38 and pregnant how long did it take?

I have a son who is 7 and I fell first try! I know it will not be that way now so wondering how long it has taken you all?

3 months and we definitely weren’t trying. My cycle was all over the shop too.

4 months at 38, lost that baby at 14 weeks, pregnant again after one period. Trying again now at 41 and think I might be pregnant after one month of trying (period five days late but haven’t managed to get a test yet!)

We had sex once that month, with a frigging condom and I managed to get pregnant. 🤦🏻‍♀️ We are very happy about it though!

38 and we've been trying for almost a year, although some months due to shift and ovulation time we've just not been able to hit it. Hoping it happens soon though!!!! Fell after three months with our first who is 3 yrs old.

Fell first month a week before turning 37. Also fell first time with my older two when I was 31 and 33. Good luck!

I'm 38 FTM and got pregnant on second month of trying. Fertility may drop as you get older, but some of it is just down to chance.

I'm 37 and it was on the first cycle. We were very shocked and shat ourselves as we weren't prepared for it to be that quick

I turned 38 in the middle of August. We decided to start trying as it feels like "now or never". Had sex once and now I'm eleven weeks pregnant.

We started ttc DC4 just before my 38th birthday, it took 19cycles (short ones) and I conceived at 39, gave birth at 40.

I'm now 7.5wk with #5 at 41. That was a bit of a shock as it was a one hit wonder and #4 took so long and so much sex!

11 months then 4 miscarriages - just under 2 yrs to get my sticky bean.

Had conceived really easy with first and 2nd baby at 28 and 30.

I’m now 39 and been trying for about 18 months for #4. 3 miscarriages and currently 8 wks.

Seems very variable - good luck and keep trying if it doesn’t happen straight away x

Got my coil removed in March and conceived the week before my 38th birthday in June. First baby. We have friends who had taken years so we were hoping it wouldn't be the same for us but were aware it could be. Currently 20 weeks along. I think the working from home situation helped us conceive faster than if we had been commuting into work.

First try and then second try at 37 but both very early miscarriages. Feel positive about third try this month despite mc's as at least something is being fertilised. So many factors to consider and things that we can control (taking vitamins, having sex and being aware of ovulation) I try and put the age thing in a box.

Also first try at 35 with daughter who is 2 :-)
