Hey everyone. I have googled this and read all the old threads but really wanted some recent stories of anyone who has or is going through the same.
I’m now around 6 weeks pregnant (last period was 8th sept) and Sunday I had some pink discharge and nothing else then Monday a little blood throughout the day but not a lot and it stopped that evening and turned brown and today only a tiny bit of brown discharge/maybe old blood. I have no cramps or anything that I would describe as painful. The doctor said I have to just wait for 7-10 days and then retest and if bleeding gets heavy then to call back.
I had 2 x positive tests on a first response a couple of days after my period was due but the cheap test strips always showed negative that’s why I bought a first response.
I know I have to just wait and see but has anyone else had this or experiencing this and it so what happened? Thanks in advance xx

@DMT1982 my scan didn't go well today 💔
The sac had grown but not enough and it was still empty. I've chosen to wait it out for now so I'll be back in two weeks for another scan...I'll probably look at the medical options if nothings happened naturally by then.
Thanks for keeping me company 💕 you've been a great support.

@mrswilso 😢😢 Im gutted to read this you poor thing especially after everything else being so positive I’m as shocked as you are that the scan wasn’t a good one. How would you still be having positive pregnancy tests if there was no baby in there and also could you maybe not be as far down the line as first thought? Sending you and your hubby lots of Hugs xxx

@mrswilso just checking in to see how you’re doing?

Soooooo I ended up going back to the doctors Monday as had symptoms of UTI and stabbing pains but still no period. Long story short he sent me to EPU and also booking me in for scan to check for ovaries on my cysts as I have other symptoms that would lean towards that. EPU would not scan me as I’m not pregnant (silly really as I now have to waste another appointment for scan that they could have done there but hey ho!) no signs of ectopic pregnancy or UTI and he said just wait for my period and carry on TTC.

So that’s where I am at and should come on soon but he said it maybe late or early as body is all over the place.

Hope you’re ok xx

Hey ladies 💕
I took a few days off MN to distract myself a bit. It didn't work 🤣 I'm doing okay, this week has been a struggle mentally and physically - I've been sore and bleeding but still haven't passed anything obvious...scan again on Thursday to check everything's moving along.
What a pain @DMT1982 - I really hope things settle down for you quickly.
How you doing @Mishmased ?

...my little sissy is in labour right now 🥴 ...in Australia...and I can't get to her! Waaaaaah 😭 video callings been great but I wish I was there rubbing her wee back 🥺

Mishmased · 30/10/2020 08:14

@mrswilso I'm so sorry, be kind to yourself, to say this is difficult is an understatement. Hope you have someone to lean on? You're in my thoughts.

Amazing news about your sister tho. One door closes and a window is opened. She will be fine as you know and she's in good hands. You're getting a baby to love and this is a sign that it will happen to you soon. I'm in tears now, you both will be ok.❤️❤️❤️

mrswilso · 30/10/2020 08:34

@Mishmased my hubby has been amazing - and sister too, she's been calling every day to check in 💕
You're so right - her wee baby is keeping me positive right now...and I'm a big believer in timings and fate. It's a weird coincidence that I'm losing one as she's bringing one into the world, it makes it a bit easier to cope with for me.
Here's another tear jerker of a coincidence for you...she conceived this baby that she's birthing right now the same week that our father got a terrible cancer diagnosis 🤭 by total chance, she wasn't trying! He's doing okay right now thankfully - and he's so excited to be able to see this wee baby 🥰

Mishmased · 30/10/2020 08:43

That's fantastic news @mrswilso I'm glad your dad is doing well. Loads of positivity to keep you going. I never knew pregnancy could be this emotional rollercoaster. Sounds like you've all been through the mill recently and hope you enjoy the joy this new baby brings. Take time to grieve for yours now and remember it will pass. Hopefully it all goes quickly for your sister.
