Lockdown gender reveal

Hi everyone,

Just looking for ideas!
Since the world is in such a strange place...I want to do something special to make our families smile!

Obviously our gender reveal cant be done in person, so I'm looking for some ideas of how to announce the gender?

I was thinking of something with pumpkins with Halloween coming but any ideas would be fab!!

I feel bad for people that say ‘no one cares about the sex of your baby except you/your parents’, what miserable friends and family you must have! I LOVE getting excited about pregnancies with my friends and finding out the sex of their babies! (And personally didn’t find out for my first two, but have for my third- it’s still a surprise if you find out at the scan- didn’t have a reveal myself as isn’t my thing but no problem with anyone else doing it!)

Am not great at ideas for these things OP bit ignore the negativity on this thread and go for it, the pumpkin ideas are cute!

Have a Halloween zoom party, you can dress up as a fortune teller, tell everyone’s futures tongue in cheek, then cut a circular Cristal ball cake to reveal the sex of your baby. Maybe your DH could pull some stunts with moving glasses and pictures and creeping doors
