Currently 34 weeks pregnant and with birth on my mind just wondering when other mums went into labour with their first?

I have a feeling baby will be early but not sure if that’s just my wishful thinking 😂🙈

my waters broke 36/6 I had her just over 37 weeks

SugarSW7 · 08/09/2020 01:16

39 + 1 for my DD. Going by 12 week ultrasound, she came on her due date, but by LMP and ovulation, 39 + 1.

Notapheasantplucker · 08/09/2020 01:39

37 weeks

Wingingitsince2018 · 08/09/2020 01:51

He was born 30mins before I was booked in to be induced!

osnapitzchloe · 08/09/2020 02:08

40 +4. Had my stretch and sweep and he was born 12 hours later.

watermelonsugar99 · 08/09/2020 02:10

39+3 was in slow labour from 39!

Congrats & good luck! Xx

Ginfilledcats · 08/09/2020 02:13

Whatthedoodle · 08/09/2020 06:22

36 weeks with my first

Russell19 · 08/09/2020 06:26

38 weeks and my waters broke first but Labour was very long. Over 40 hours!

Roselilly36 · 08/09/2020 06:32

My first DS arrived safely the day before he was due after a 10hr Labour. Good luck OP & congratulations.

Disappointedkoala · 08/09/2020 06:56

38 weeks.

sarahc336 · 08/09/2020 06:57

40+4 after a good sweep Smile

Toffee86 · 08/09/2020 07:46

40+2 but by going by LMP/date of conception, I would say 40 on the nose!

mummy2myJJ · 08/09/2020 08:57

Mine came on his due date, labour started at 6am and he was here at 13:51 a very chunky healthy baby at 9lb x

Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese · 08/09/2020 09:02

He arrived bang on 37 weeks.
However I'd been having contractions (noted as braxton hicks because I was managing and they didn't settle into rythmn) for 3 days. They only started on the 'expected' 3 in 10 minutes about an hour before I arrived at the mat unit and he came 20 minutes later.
I was adament he would be late because DH has the worst time management skills 😂

Minkies13 · 08/09/2020 09:07

41+3

Frazzled13 · 08/09/2020 09:08

39+6, and she was born on her due date

Frazzlerock · 08/09/2020 09:10

At 41+4 my waters finally broke but no contractions at all, so I had to be induced (which I was due to have done the following day anyway).

18 hours later and, after ventouse, forceps and then an EMCS, all 9lb 12 of him was born.

MsSquiz · 08/09/2020 09:11

Labour started: 39+5
DD arrived: 39+6

I was due to go in for a sweep on my due date but DD beat us to it

LunaHardy · 08/09/2020 09:34

40+6 after a stretch and sweep! Born 41 weeks.

unmarkedbythat · 08/09/2020 09:36

I was induced. Had pessary at lunchtime-ish when I was 42 weeks, went into labour around 2.30am the next morning and he was born just before 5.15. I don't know any women in my family who haven't gone significantly past the EDD with their first!

OakleyStreetisnotinChelsea · 08/09/2020 09:49

T+15 dc1 was born. Spontaneous labour.

IlanaWexler · 08/09/2020 10:02

Didn't. I developed severe pre-eclampsia at 36 weeks and had an EMCS.

Treaclepie19 · 08/09/2020 10:19

With DS1 my waters broke at 37+3 and he arrived the next day.
