Currently 34 weeks pregnant and with birth on my mind just wondering when other mums went into labour with their first?

I have a feeling baby will be early but not sure if that’s just my wishful thinking 😂🙈

@unmarkedbythat I have the opposite! The women in my family all gave birth to their children within their 37th or 38th week. I've already had my Nan asking me why I'm going overdue - I'm 39 weeks today 😂 Hmm.

40+5 although as others have said, going by LMP and ovulation date, bang on what I had worked the due date out to be :)

BeMorePacific · 08/09/2020 11:10

My waters broke at 41+2. After 3 sweeps x

@Chanel05 isn't it so interesting the way these things go? I wonder why some families tend to have longer pregnancies and others shorter?

Good luck! I hope all goes well for you Flowers

40 +15 after induction.

She takes after her father - late for everything!

ScatteredMama82 · 08/09/2020 12:50

40 + 5 with DS1. Was booked for a sweep but started on my own that morning.

YessicaHaircut · 08/09/2020 12:55

Waters broke bang on due date going by LMP date, 40+4 going by 12 week scan date. That was a Friday evening and he didn’t actually arrive until the early hours of the following Monday 😣. So he was born at 40+3 from LMP date or 41 weeks exactly by scan date.

HighlandMam1 · 08/09/2020 13:48

I went bang on my due date with both of my children, it will be interesting to see if this little one follows suit!

littlemisslozza · 08/09/2020 14:05

Had to be induced at 41+5

Flowerqueensw · 08/09/2020 14:12

40 + 3

I tried to think of 41 weeks as my actual due date as I was convinced I would go past my edd and get frustrated.

Superscientist · 08/09/2020 16:37

My waters broke at midnight 38+5-6 baby in my arms by lunchtime. Maternity leave was due to start the following morning!
I had a feeling that I would either be early or at 42 weeks - I just had a sense that she would be awkward one way or another!

BiddyPop · 08/09/2020 16:41

It depended which date you believed.
GP and also my own initial workings-out based on LMP etc: 40+0

Cons (pushing for induction 3 days later if nothing!): 40+6

MW on last visit: 40+2

Mutabilis · 08/09/2020 16:55

42 weeks EMCS (2nd baby 42 weeks and induced).

emma911030 · 08/09/2020 17:39

@Ginfilledcats me too! My waters started going the morning of my due date, they then completely went that evening and my little boy arrived at 5.09 at 40+1.
The amount of people who said to me about not many people go into labour on their due date, I could have been pretty rich by the end of my hospital stay! (Only one night after giving birth) lol

OnceBitten25 · 08/09/2020 18:18

10 days after my due date
