I'm due 17th Feb :) 14 weeks tomorrow! This is my 3rd! Total surprise! I already have a girl (9) and a little boy (7) so I really am starting over again!! Horrendous sickness this time to the point I had to get medication! Completely different to first two pregnancies so haven't even an inkling to what this one is! Now that we're over the shock of it all we are so excited 🥰

Soon2bemummyof3 · 18/08/2020 14:04

I also can't sleep at all!! It's horrendous so exhausted! I already have a bump too which isn't helping with sleep!

Safxxx · 18/08/2020 15:00

@babydust2412 I totally understand, sleeping has been a big issue last few weeks, minimum I'm getting about 3hrs other times I'm laying awake and frustrated.
Daytime feel so tired and moody, got a headache tday due to it. My belly getting big too, and hips and waist are getting wider.
@soon2bemummyof3 Awe congrats❤ hope all goes well. Xx

Safxxx · 18/08/2020 15:04

Not minimum I meant the most I'm getting is about 3hrs of sleep. I do get hot at night I keep the fan on all night, still can't sleep properly. 😩
Getting lots of stretching pains and feel more and more breathless.

Gonesurfing · 18/08/2020 16:43

@Safxxx Im the same with the sleeping! Its like il wake up in the middle of the night and be wide awake , so frustrating Confused.. and the breathlessness iv notices that getting worse, i guess our lungs are working extra hard now we are getting bigger!

Is anyone showing yet?!

Xx

Safxxx · 18/08/2020 16:56

@Gonesurfing it's like our bodies are getting us used to the sleepless nights after birth... My question is why NOW why not in the last month lol 🤣🤣

babydust2412 · 18/08/2020 18:07

So glad we're all feeling the same ❤️ so annoying isn't it, I've also had a headache a lot due to lack of sleep xx

Oops fell off the thread! I’m also struggling to sleep. I’m starting to show a lot now, lots of people are looking at me funny with 3 under 5 and another on the way!

Safxxx · 18/08/2020 20:13

@howlathebees Awe ignore ppl, they will be judgemental no matter what, can't please everyone these days 🙄
Just count your blessings and stay happy!
Looks like we're all in the same boat with sleepless nights.
Hopefully we get thru it with ease Xxx

Muriel84 · 19/08/2020 17:18

I fell off the thread too! I am also sleeping badly though actually slept quite well last night for the first time in ages. I’m really struggling with sleeping on my side! Also I am quite stressed with exam and work. 😬

I am defs showing I feel enormous! Altho compared to all the other ladies at the clinic I went to today I barely felt pregnant. I don’t fit any of my clothes. Even some with elastic waistband are tight! I’m constantly hungry during the day. Feel like I’ve ballooned. I also have headaches, heartburn and nose bleeds. Who said the second trimester was easy?! 🤣 I feel more tired and more short of breath!

Had another internal scan today. Babs was very active upside down head butting my cervix which was nice 🤣. My placenta is low, been told to take it easy and hopefully it should go north!🤞🤞🤞x x x

Safxxx · 19/08/2020 18:20

@Muriel84 good to hear baby is doing well.
Yes do take it easy, try not to lift heavy items or do strenuous work... I agree getting into 2nd timester is as hard.
Have you had your glucose test yet? Xx

Muriel84 · 19/08/2020 18:47

@Safxxx aw thanks for remembering! It was fine. Though the appointment itself was boring and quite a lot of needles because I was a bit dehydrated to start with!

When does the second trimester get easier?! A colleague was telling me she would wake up some days in her second trimester full of energy... I need this! X x x

Safxxx · 19/08/2020 19:09

@Muriel84 that's great test is fine... when does it get easier? 🤔 lol wish I could remember, it's been over 8yrs since I last had a baby haha.
Of course they're will be days where we are full of beans, just have to wait for them.
From what I remember in my 3rd timester I use to get things done more, it's what they call a nesting period.
I use to have alot of energy, cleaning house top to bottom, getting everything organised etc.
I guess we just have to go with the flow, listnen to our bodies and rest as needed. And enjoy the days when the energy hits us lol
Can't be easy for you with exams and work going on at the same time. I think in a few more weeks we might start to feel more energy!! Well I hope we do as I'm tired of being tired all the time 😩

Muriel84 · 19/08/2020 19:45

@Safxxx fingers crossed for a day feeling full of beans when I have my exam in 3 weeks!

I really want to nest. We’re going to have to move house at least once in the next 6 months. Such bad timing.

I have fallen asleep sat upright in a chair twice this week! 🤣 x x x

Safxxx · 20/08/2020 12:32

Hi all hope your well. Wanted to ask anyone else getting fluttering movements of baby?
I know many of it is wind but it's the 3rd day tday I feel fluttering sensations.....Defo not wind as I've learnt the difference. Xxc

bluang3l · 20/08/2020 15:01

Hi all! I had my NT scan on Monday and the nuchal fold measurement was good. I haven't had a phone call about my bloods yet (they say 2-3 days if there are any concerns, otherwise letter in 14) I'm waiting to announce and hoping to do it today or tomorrow!!! Do you think I should maybe wait until tomorrow just in case?

Muriel84 · 20/08/2020 20:31

@Safxxx I have wondered whether I can feel fluttering movements but I’m not sure cos I don’t really know what I’m looking out for. Are they quite low in your stomach? I had a strange pop in my stomach the other night but it was higher up around my belly button. Do you notice them when you’re doing anything in particular?

@bluang3l I should think if you’ve not heard anything by now it’s all fine! X x x

Safxxx · 20/08/2020 21:59

@Muriel84 it's hard to explain but it's lower down under the belly button, fluttering sensations like very quick and that's it for a while. Popping or burping type of sensations too. Like when you have a whoppee cushion and you press it that type of feeling at times. Also might feel like wind, but if it's only in one place then you know.Lol I'm not good at explaining 🤣 I usually feel it upon resting either sitting or lying down. I'm getting it now as I'm relaxed and typing away. At times feels quite faint, other times it's little more stronger. Xx

Muriel84 · 20/08/2020 22:16

@Safxxx oh that sounds kind of lovely! I want to feel it... I’ll concentrate on it when I go to bed and see if if can... xxx

babydust2412 · 20/08/2020 23:35

Hi ladies, I get what you mean about the fluttering sensation. I've been having tiny cramps in one spot that come and go fast and then strange feelings I can't explain, asked my midwife this week at my routine appointment and she said it sounds like early movements so that's exciting xxx

@Gonesurfing I'm 16 weeks and 2 days, not too sure what I'm feeling it's a sensation I haven't had yet but not sure if I believe it's movement yet because it's so intermittent and a feeling I can't explain 😂❤️
