Anyone else due February 2021?

Just looking to see if anyone on here is due same time as me and wanted to chat about symptoms and all sorts 😊 I'm due February 2nd ❤️ Had 2 scans so far and have my 3rd in 2 weeks and am currently 11 weeks 5 days 😊

@howlathebees I've only had scans in the past at 12wks or around 20wks
So I was thinking how you knew earlier on.
But yeah makes sense now, also your couple of weeks ahead from me, I must stop judging on my time line lol 🤣 I haven't had my first can yet, but will do this Thursday coming, can't wait. So naturally I was thinking how some finding out gender when I haven't had my first scan 🤣

@babydust2412 it’s really great! We’re still holding out on buying things until the 20 weeks scan for double confirmation though!

We’re not finding out the gender but that hasn’t stopped me trying to guess! Keep changing my mind.

I’ve been booked a glucose tolerance test on Friday! Sounds awful! Regretting eating a banana as I was waiting for my booking bloods as it put my blood sugar slightly over 😂

@Muriel84 are you diabetic? I'm not but my parents are, so I will be monitored and they will do a glucose tolerance test around 7mths. Previously I've been fine no problems hopefully all goes well this time too. Xxx

@Safxxx nope! No one in my family has diabetes. My bmi is low. My glucose was a teeny bit over but I’d just eaten! Is it just two blood tests with a glucose drink in between? I’m worried about fasting! The morning is my most hungry time! Xxx

@Muriel84 it's been a while but yeah sounds about right. I know what you mean without breakfast on time it's so hard, I start to feel sick if I don't eat.
But the time they give you they usually see you on time, as long as they don't make you wait it will be ok.. take a snack with you to have straight after your test. Xxx

The heat is killing me today

I’m so conflicted between wanting to know the sex and not. We were trying for years so have a shortlist of names and I’ve decided on one for a boy and on one for a girl, so I feel if I find out the sex I will just end up calling it by the same rather than baby and then there will be no element of surprise!

@Snorlax86 choose the names and put them on the back of your mind until they're born.
To be honest I rather know so when the time comes to shopping I know what to get.
But if you don't want to know and want to keep it as a surprise then that's fine. I think it's quite common to refer to the baby as baby rather then name. Keep the name to yourselves and a surprise to others. Xxx

@howlathebees I think I’m having a boy but that’s based on nothing! I always thought I wanted a girl cos I’m the only girl out of four. But now I really don’t mind either way. I did a Chinese gender predictor yesterday which said boy!

I’ve just done the Chinese gender predictor too @Muriel84 it also says boy. We always had a preference before getting pregnancy but since we got pregnant we don’t have one, will be interesting to see if the predictor is right!

@Snorlax86 it's completely up to you whether you find out the sex, my parents never found out with me and they loved the surprise. I'm only finding out so that I can buy more things in advance because I'm struggling to find many gender neutral things at the moment ❤️
I might have to try the Chinese gender prediction and see what it says!

H&M just got a load of new cute gender neutral stuff on their website. Pretty reasonable as well. Trying to stop myself from buying stuff... distracting me from work! 🙈

The gender predictor was right for DS2 and DS3 but not DS1 and DS4!

I think I’ve always had a bit of a preference for boys. Not enough to be disappointed if I had a girl but there’s barely any boys in my family so it is nice to have so many

Hi I had a call from hospital to check if I'm well enough to come for the scan tmro. They said to come alone and as a compensation for not allowing anyone else to come with me I get FREE Scan pictures.
(Otherwise they charge £10)
Ahh that made my day lol can't wait til tmro now, hopefully all goes well.

Hey. Has anyone had their screening report delivered yet?

@OnNaturesCourse nope. When was your test?
Mine was a week ago. They said two weeks and I’d get the results by post I think. All my other tests came through on this app they use.

I have my scan next Friday when I will be 13+1! Just found out a friend has had a miscarriage and i have no idea how im to tell her I'm pregnant, we were waiting until we had the scan photo to announce to everyone 😑
