6 or 7 maybe? But everyone is different and every baby is different so don’t worry if I’m wrong!

CupCupGoose · 05/07/2020 19:58

5 months

Temple29 · 05/07/2020 19:58

I would guess around 6 months

Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese · 05/07/2020 19:59

Going by my pregnancies, I'd guess between 28 and 34 weeks.

18-20 weeks, but I’m rubbish at guessing! Also depends on what number pregnancy it is - I’m 31 weeks but look the same as I did at 36 weeks with my first!

darcie3 · 05/07/2020 20:02

I'm only 18 weeks and a lady in morrisons today told me I should be resting up as look as if I'm about to give birth any day!

I was horrified! I didn't have any make up on and slept horribly last night so maybe she just thought I looked rough but it's made me really conscious! I've been craving healthy food as well so doesn't make sense to me why I seem to big, also it's baby number 1.

It's hard to tell if it's bump or bloat tbh. I had a a lot of bloating in the first trimester and looked 6 months pregnant some days with a rock hard belly. I didn't start developing an actual bump till 16 weeks onwards though.

My bump probably looked about that size around 20-25 weeks. We're all different though.

Teacaketotty · 05/07/2020 20:05

You definitely don’t look 9 months pregnant OP - I would say 5/6 months, some people just carry it differently. Don’t worry about looking rough- you have the ultimate excuse Flowers

sel2223 · 05/07/2020 20:10

Just saw your update OP, you definitely don't look massive, some people are just rude lol.
My bump was about that size for ages, it only really 'popped' fully about 32/33 weeks and now I really am huge lol

Ughmaybenot · 05/07/2020 20:21

Id have said five months, there’s no way you look nine months gone Confused

FrauFarbissina · 05/07/2020 20:24

I thought five months so only a couple weeks out.

duckling3 · 05/07/2020 20:26

You definately dont look close to 9 months pregnant in that picture.
I hate when people make comments like this. My post lady asked me if I was having twins after finding hiw far along I was because I was 'so big'.
I was pretty upset/grumpy about it for a good week.

Courtney555 · 05/07/2020 20:29

Don't give it a second thought. I had the tiniest cutest bump...with twins. My legs, however, retained water to cartoon proportions. You will look exactly how you're supposed to, it's not comparable to anyone else Flowers

Lifeisconfusing · 05/07/2020 20:31

Looks like your 6 month with a baby girl

Saggydoll · 05/07/2020 20:35

I am 17 weeks and look same size.. dont worry, enjoy being pregnant i say

DontStandSoClose · 05/07/2020 20:48

I’d have guessed 6/7 months but everyone is different. You look bigger than me at 9 months gone but I had tiny bumps both times I was pregnant, I had constant comments about me not looking big enough. My dad really did go on and on about it “you aren’t big enough, why haven’t you put weight on” etc so you can’t win. My first child was over 7lb and second was well over 8lb. I wouldn’t get worked up over how big your bump is, oh and ignore strangers comments!

darcie3 · 05/07/2020 21:01

Thank you all of you x

I'm grateful baby is healthy and happy as he/she was our last attempt before going for IVF so I'm going to just be grateful I've got a bump at all xx

There’s no way you look about to pop! I was going to guess for 5 months pregnant. I’m 34 weeks and am at least double your bump size! People carry baby weight different and also a lot depends on babies position. People make unnecessary comments, just ignore as much as you can.

Kodiak83 · 05/07/2020 22:57

You look amazing! And just right for 18 weeks. Funnily enough I had the same thing happen to me with pregnancy no 2. I was not 20 weeks yet and at the checkout in Morrisons the lady said ‘not long to go now’!! I was so embarrassed I just nodded and agreed, couldn’t bring myself to tell her 😂 I’m a bit cuddlier than you!

31Feb · 05/07/2020 23:01

Congratulations on your pregnancy!
Try not to worry about the comments as everyone seems to have an opinion on a baby bump.

candle18 · 05/07/2020 23:04

Congratulations. I was going to guess 6 months.

FlowerPig · 05/07/2020 23:11

People are rude!! I saw DPs mum for the first time at 18 weeks due to covid and the first thing she said was "ooooh look at your face filling out already!!!"
The next day one of my neighbours walked past while I was gardening out the front and asked if I was sure it wasn't twins because it was my first and I was still so early on but was "massive"!!!!!
Spent the rest of the day crying and eating 🤣
I had put on a stone and a half by that point though 😳 Doing my best to manage my weight gain since, probably the wake up all I needed to stop "eating for two" but it was the only way I got through my sickness which I had up to about week 17....eat it away. Plus I wasn't doing any walking whereas I normally do around 3 miles a day so back to that now too.
Ignore the silly woman, I know it's easier said than done but I just keep reminding myself that pregnancy isn't forever.
