Pregnancy test

My last period was 1st June. I am now 3/4 days late. Done a few tests negative. This morning, took my daughter to school, picked up cheap pregnancy tests from the corner shop, went home, peed on it (second maybe third pee of the day but I hadn't had a drink) I thought there was a very faint positive. I then noticed scratches on the screen so took the test apart and saw the faint positive clearer but then read you shouldn't take them apart. Waited an hour or so later till I needed a pee again, again not drinking, faint line came up straight away. Again very very faint though but it is visible. Came to work and picked up another test from a different store, peed on that one and it's negative. Dodgy tests? I don't know what to think. I've been feeling sick for 2 weeks ish. Stabbing pains in the very top of vagina/pelvic area. Also had slight niggly feelings in my right ovary. Any advice please

I can't see the test line on yours, there is a second line but I think that's just part of the test. I think the tests I did yesterday must have been faulty. 2 negatives since.

That's positive. There is a very light coloured line.... I think congratulations may be in order.

I've had loads of negatives since. Still no Period though and no sign of it either

Just when things couldn't get much worse, arguing with partner because sometimes hes the biggest idiot going, I've now had my smear test results back and I've tested positive for HPV

Would HPV affect results or fertility? - don’t stress over ur bloke they’re all the same lol mine had to work this morning I was up at 4am heartburn feeling sick n needing a wee so he woke up with me then pissed me off by making bacon rolls ! Usually I’d be happy today I Jst wanted to rip his head off cos all I want to do is feel normal n the smell is so strong.

No I googled it and hpv doesn't affect fertility. I've still not come on my period, 5 days late now x

I've just looked at that, mostly common in twins. I just think maybe I'm late. Or miscalculated. I had some spotting 2 weeks after my period started (period was on 1st June) last 6 days odd then spotted on and off for 5 days on the 15th June. So maybe period will be 28 days from the 15th. God knows. I do think those tests I bought from the shop was faulty though, I've not tested since Wednesday, but all was negative even the early dectector one

Thanks for this! I’ll google the hook effect. No news from me! Negative tests and no period, and no symptoms either way. I’m now 6days late. Can you just miss a period randomly?? I’m more worried now that my cycle will be effected going forward.

So, 6 days late today. Ordered. A test to be delivered today. Apologies for the tmi but noticed a lot of discharge, white and creamy and then it's also see through and stretchy? Vivid dreams for the 4/5 night in a row, tired all the time I swear I'm constipated as well. I don't have a bad stomach, just find it difficult to go. Anyone experienced this?

Morning, I did the test yesterday, negative. Still no Period at all and no signs of one. Still having really vivid dreams and still waking up feeling natious. Very very strange. Was it 9 days after your period was due that you got your first positive? How are you feeling?

Yeah took ages for a positive, still feeling rough I’ve booked a private scan for Saturday morning , I’m tired sick heartburn n really feel like I’m bloated. I wee a million times a day too! My boobs are escaping from my bra - much to the excitement of OH who is loving it!

Aw good luck for Saturday, post on here how it goes. I have no idea what's going on with me 7days late today

AF finally arrived today! I’m so relieved that I finally have a definitive answer and just get on with starting a new cycle. I was really starting to go mad this morning with another BFN and no symptoms, and AF arrived without warning a couple of hours later.

I was 7 days! And normally like clockwork 28 day cycle. Hopefully it’s not too disrupted going forward. Any luck for you with a BFP??

I've not tested since Sunday, today I'm 8 days late. No sign. Just some electric like pain in uterus and ovaries. No idea what the hell that is

I've occasionally gone 5-6 weeks between periods for no apparent reason then back to normal cycle (29 days for me pre peri) I've gone 10 weeks this year, was very worried (I'm way too old to deal with nappies again!). What I'm saying is your cycle can go wrong and it's just one of those things

@Justme1235 have you tried taking a clear blue? I'm 13+5 weeks pregnant and when I took a first response it was so faint and the clear blue was really dark! I tried a digital also as I thought its maybe my eyes🤣 a digital will say pregnant even if a normal 2 line test would be too hard to see! I know they're more expensive but at 5 days late I would buy it just to make sure.. keep us updated!❤️

Think I tried everything but a clear blue. I started spotting yesterday, 16 days late for my period. And today a full blown period. I have no idea what went wrong this month. Never ever been so late for a period.
