So I have taken 7 tests. All positives. 4 of them being clear blue digital. Doctors told me to come in with a first morning wee so they could confirm. Just had a call back and they said it’s negative. As well as being in bits, my head is totally all over the place Sad

Sounds like you've had a real rough few days. Really do hope it works out for you, even the 1% of hope is still worth holding on to. Wishing you all the best x

I had a very heavy bleed at 6 weeks I saw the blood when I went to the loo went to EPU had a scan and they told me the bleed was very heavy I never saw blood again after that but at my check up I was still bleeding but my body was absorbing the blood so I wasn't actually seeing it this went on for 2 weeks, I'm now 37 weeks so please don't give up hope keeping my fingers crossed for you

@Goldenmother wow bet that was crazy, glad it worked out for you. I’m trying to think positive, going to try and have a relaxing weekend and then see what’s what on Monday with my blood test. Thank you x

Why are GPs suddenly doing pregnancy tests?

Sophj19 · 02/06/2020 11:35

@greathat the reason my GP did a blood test was because I’d have two previous miscarriages and they wanted to check that my HCG levels were increasing as they should. Some Drs also like to do this before they refer you to the midwife. I think it depends on where you live.
