I really am symptom spotting and I just can't help it. It's the only think that gets me through the tww! Apologies if I have put this in the wrong section.

Metallic taste in mouth in the 2WW. Also had a day, either just after ovulation or a few days after, where I felt completely wiped out. I've just looked on my Ovia app and a few reoccurring symptoms were tender breasts, stomach ache, acne which can be signs of AF, it's so unclear. Got my BFP around 11/12DPO.

The weekend that I tested I had some nausea, sore boobs and my body temperature was ridiculous - it was Feb and I went out in a T Shirt to cool myself down!

Gigitree · 30/04/2020 09:43

For me looking back the first most obvious symptom was crazy vivid dreams! The rest of my symptoms could have been mistaken for pms!
The tww is agonising I know the feeling! Sending you good luck vibes xxx

bookish83 · 30/04/2020 09:44

Raging PMS. Never felt quite like it in my life!

YouJustDoYou · 30/04/2020 09:45

It was different for each one but hugely increased sense of smell, violently sick, extremely tired beyond normal.

MRSSGS · 30/04/2020 09:50

Slight cramps on one side until 6 weeks when my morning sickness started x

Bailey93 · 30/04/2020 09:51

Wow thanks for all the quick responses! I know everyone is so different but I just enjoy seeing what everyone else goes through. I'm sure I'm not the only one! I had a miscarriage in August last year and only just feeling ready again. So this is the first month. Fingers crossed!

Tiredness and breathlessness first, at about 5 weeks. Have had nausea and a stronger sense of smell from week 6 onwards.

I definitely didn’t have symptoms during the 2ww so don’t worry if you haven’t!

Bailey93 · 30/04/2020 09:53

@zscaler wow yes I remember tiredness from the last time at about 5 weeks but I was unaware I was pregnant. Made perfect sense when I found out!

My boobs were really sensitive like tingling!

ineedamiracle2020 · 30/04/2020 09:55

Mine was insomnia every single night (still have it now) wake up at 3 and can't get back to sleep most of the time 😴 My nipples stayed sore right up to when my period was expected and would BURN in the cold! Never had that before, still get it sometimes.

Dontforgetyourbrolly · 30/04/2020 09:56

A splitting headache and food tasting off ( esp milk)

BiggerBoat1 · 30/04/2020 09:58

Indigestion and a sort of slight sicky feeling that put me off eating. I remember being at one of those work dos where they have little mini samosas and sandwiches in triangles. Would normally have been all over that but just felt a bit off!

MaryThorne · 30/04/2020 09:58

Sore boobs and feeling queasy especially at certain smells that had never bothered me before.

MaryThorne · 30/04/2020 10:02

Oh and tiredness- we were regular hikers (think day long hilly/mountainous walks both days every weekend in the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District) and within a few weeks walking a mile or two on a gentle, fairly flat country footpath was utterly exhausting!

mumworkstudywine · 30/04/2020 10:13

With my first, it was the insane sore boobs. I couldn't even lie on my front I was in that much pain. With this pregnancy, my first noticeable symptom was really awful trapped gas and pinch type cramping, then followed by an aversion to Big Mac sauce (which really set my mind running as I love Big Mac sauce usually!)

Bailey93 · 30/04/2020 10:16

Seriously loving all these replies. Getting me through the already long day! Especially in isolation.

I got my positive this morning and my weird symptoms were a completely blocked ear for the past 2/3 days and mild nausea for about a week. Also I cried yesterday morning which I never do and didn't really have a reason to!

What were your earliest symptoms please?
Mc3209 · 30/04/2020 10:29

For me the first thing was insomnia (and I could sleep for Britain before!) and then mild nausea and aversion to tea specifically, aversion to coffee came a bit later.

thenightsky · 30/04/2020 10:31

A raging thirst that would only be quenched by fizzy drinks.

A strong smell of Heinz tomato soup.

Bailey93 · 30/04/2020 10:32

@Lizziedu49 Wow! A massive congratulations, I bet you are so happy. Hopefully I get my BFP very soon 🤞🏼

People at worked guessed I was pregnant before I did, I couldn't stomach emptying the bin at home had to make my partner do it, it made me gag! Even opening the fridge sometimes made me recoil! I had all the usual period coming symptoms so I was convinced they were wrong, sore boobs, cramps, fatigue, my work colleague told me she was exactly the same before she found out she was pregnant!

Nelbert19 · 30/04/2020 10:43

I didn’t notice anything in the 2WW, but my earliest symptoms were tiredness and peeing A LOT.

Next came raging hyperemesis and migraines, so slightly less subtle 🙄

bee222 · 30/04/2020 10:58

In the four days leading up to my bfp I was bloating and had bad cramps. I was crying to my partner saying how bloody unfair it was that my period was on its way and other people seem to get pregnant to easily. I even put a pad in!
As soon as I got the bfp (12DPO) the dizziness started.
