Am packing it this weekend and other than the 20 packs of antiseptic wipes that I have to take (thanks Marina ) I am not too sure what else??

I just had baby clothes in newborn size, and ds wouldn't fit into them, so if you think he'she might be big, take some 0-3 sizes too!

Good book, I couldn't sleep afterwards, and wuold rather read than fret!

Someone to have the baby for you! I'd have liked one of those.
Speak to your midwife as the hospital may provide some stuff. The place I had DS provided everything for the baby so it was only stuff for me I needed.
I can also recommend the paper pants. Not very glam but who cares, you don't have to wash them. Take loads of them.

Ditto most of above but add those Cooling Wet Wipes - nice for the stiffling heat in the hospital & very refreshing !

Definately take baby wipes - either for the baby's bum, or to keep yourself clean after. With all the bleeding you feel ikky. The best thing I took with me was dh - do you want a lend?!

House at Pooh Corner and a twix. Only things I used from my hosp. bag.

twinke - we have two bags as we have to take everything for baby - nothing provided as well as whatever dh and I need - I packed a daggy nightshirt for night and then packed some elastic wasited shorts and big t-shirts for during the day. Orange juice and muesili bars for when dh ( or me more likely) gets hungry.

I have been packing bags - one for us, one for dd to take to grandmas and one for no2.... be glad when this is all over.
