I am 6 weeks today I have booked a private scan for 2 weeks time so I will be 8 weeks. Me and my partner are really impatient lol we have known about the pregnancy for nearly 3 weeks so to wait until the 12 week scan seems forever. I have never had an early scan before just the 12 week one so not sure what to expect? What we will see.

Thank you @caffeinefix. How can i get it removed x

caffeinefix · 06/03/2020 17:54

@djbebe I have reported it and Mumsnet sent me a message to say they'd contact you. Maybe report your post with it on x

DJBebe · 06/03/2020 17:58

@caffeinefix thank you. I managed to email them and asked to have it removed. The admin team emailed back and confirmed they did but i can still see the pic on my post? Is this normal? Are you still able to see it?

caffeinefix · 06/03/2020 18:02

@djbebe I can't see it now x

Many thanks @caffeinefix. With all of my excitement I have not realised at all it had my personal details. X

@JaffaCakeGal hope your scan went ok Smile

@KimH88 it did thank you Smile measured only a day out from what I expected 8+2, and saw the heartbeat and everything where it should be. I'm just worried now as since then I've had a couple of really small bleeds, I'm hoping it's just from the pressure applied when she was doing the scan but may ring midwife later.

@JaffaCakeGal aww that's good your dates were right. Try not to worry but yes maybe call your midwife just to put your mind at ease.

@Jane0510 how are you feeling? Another week to go yet it's dragging so much!

OP posts:
Jane0510 · 12/03/2020 20:01

@KimH88 hey, thanks for thinking of me! I'm feeling a bit more positive! Had no bleeding or pain and still getting strong positives when I test so fingers crossed. Told my parents now anyway so will have some more support either way. How about you, hoping time goes fast for us! x

KimH88 · 13/03/2020 10:14

@Jane0510 glad to hear your feeling more positive. It's gone so slow the past week so hope next Friday doesn't drag to much. I'm ok I haven't done another test since I found out. Maybe that would make me feel better the only thing that I've found wired is my sickness has completely gone. I had it all day everyday and it just stopped last week after my scan. I think I'm just over thinking it but can't help it.

@KimH88 hopefully it's just your symptoms fluctuating. I've not had any sickness but my boobs feel rock hard and are getting more sore. I'm not going too mad with testing, just doing one cheapie a week to keep an eye on things until I get more answers. I'm seeing the midwife for my booking appointment on Tuesday too so I'll keep you updated x

KimH88 · 14/03/2020 12:39

I might pick up a cheap one too just to check not sure. I had my booking in appointment on the 2nd March had bloods etc done and had my appointment for my scan on the 6th April. I will only be about 10 weeks then though with the dates being out. I have had abit of sickness yesterday and headaches have come back. I hate this first trimester it's just a constant worry isn't it. Yes keep me updated and on your scan Thursday Smile

@Jane0510 how did you get on yesterday?

OP posts:
Jane0510 · 18/03/2020 14:46

@KimH88 hey, booking appt went well thanks! I mentioned that nothing was seen on my early scan but she didn't seem too bothered, just said that the 12 week scan is better. My rescan is tomorrow. How are you getting on? x

KimH88 · 18/03/2020 15:13

@Jane0510 glad everything went ok! I'm ok thanks my sickness has returned and feeling more positive. What time is your scan tomorrow? Mine is Friday morning. Just panicking it's going to get cancelled! X

OP posts:
Jane0510 · 19/03/2020 19:43

@KimH88 Just got back from my scan. You could see a gestational sac measuring 5+5 but not much else so I've got to go for an internal scan at EPAU. Good luck for yours!

KimH88 · 19/03/2020 20:28

@Jane0510 sorry you didn't get to see more. Have they said anything else to you? Is it possible your dates are out more than you thought? Thank you they cancelled it but said I could go to a different location so we are there in the morning. Will let you know how I get on x

Jane0510 · 20/03/2020 08:59

@KimH88 I've just been given an appointment for an internal ultrasound for this time next week. My dates are way off so I don't think it's looking good x

KimH88 · 20/03/2020 11:12

@Jane0510 try to stay positive! X

Jane0510 · 20/03/2020 18:05

@KimH88 how did your scan go? I've just started spotting but I'm not in pain. I think I've been prepared for this for a few weeks now though, so I'm not doing too badly x

KimH88 · 20/03/2020 18:36

@Jane0510 oh no 😢 hope you are ok. I am thinking of you. Scan went ok I am actually 11 weeks x
