ok week to go really need a name? help

hi all my baby will be born wed afternon. need help deciding names. please help
what do you think of these

lucy
sophie
megan
molly
erin
poppy
imogen

not too keen on the lucie spelling not quite sure why. cant believe i still have not made mind up with just under week to go

I like Sophie i am biased though as this is my dd's name, i also like Poppy & Lucy.

Others i can think of are -

Ella
Gracie
Sophia
Katie (this was on my list for dd)

If you are going to go for Lucy, stick to that traditional spelling. Little girls love things with their name pre-printed on them (you know, mugs, pencils etc etc) and if you use a non-traditional spelling it becomes a bit tricky. (btw I know Lucie is the French trad spelling and it is pretty, but I'm sure ykwim)

I really like Halli for a girl. It's a little close to my name but I don't care. I like ella aswell.

Oh no wait ella lawrence is close to child abuse. Girls are difficult. We're all set for a boy.

thanks fimbo. yer he is a prat. we both decided on lucy but i donet no now as we chose it as couple. its between lucy or erin though, but keep swinging to each one lol

its ok got till wed to decide i must be the most indecisive person ever anyway this is just killing me. most my family prefer erin. but ex partners neice is called ellen do you think it sounds too close, they will have different 2nd names mind, and wont c much of each other she lives i ireland, were i wish my babys dad would go back to lol

They are all lovely names but I prefer Imogen because there aren't so many of them around.

I personally have a bit of a horror about chosing something that appears in the top 30 most common names for the last couple of years.

There are billions of Imogens around me!

in fact it was the 48th most popular name last year! here niecie!

I don't know any imogens but there are hundres of lucy's sophie's megan's, molly's and erin's around here. No Poppy's though, except a dog so I can't agree with that one either!

I have just discovered that my 'Jacob' scrapped in to the top 20 last year so that's that then, he'll have to have a name change.

Hayley - just wait until baby is out, call it all the names and pick the one that suits best!

ok still really dont know what to call her omg this is awful. all my family like erin. lucy is what me andxp picked as were not together no more finding that bit hard, but then my ds really wants lucy arrh so many decisions i have to make in such little time
