Im ttc and wanted to post this here to find out what currently pregnant people remember.. i had what I think are implantation pains last night at 10 dpo.. one sided ovary area type of pains.. that kept me up and are gone now! AF isn’t due until Friday but want to know what experiences were?

I remember mine being a lot more painful than I expected, like constant really bad period pains for 2-3 days. I’m not sure how usual this is though.

SinkGirl · 11/02/2020 10:21

Honestly I don’t remember any and I had twins. However I have endometriosis and adenomyosis so have constant pelvic pain, so I probably didn’t notice it. I did have insanely painful breasts from about 6 dpo though - by the day before my period was due I looked like I’d had someone else’s boobs transplanted onto me. But again, twins so extra hormones.

SayNoToCarrots · 11/02/2020 10:25

Just a bit crampy for about ten minutes.

Bezalelle · 11/02/2020 10:35

I felt a very strange and distinctive electric jolt/shock in my pubic area that stopped me in my tracks. I wasn't tracking ovulation or anything that month, but thinking back, it must have been about 6-7 DPO.

Emberfoot · 11/02/2020 11:00

I seem to be an insensitive sort, I am at 21wks and not only do I barely notice baby, I noticed no implantation pain or symptoms at all

SparkyBlue · 11/02/2020 11:05

I had implantation bleeding on both my girls and a few period type cramps. It was odd and I can't really describe it but I just knew I was pregnant. We weren't trying for a baby when I became pregnant with DD2 so even though I wasn't expecting it I just knew something was happening. Absolutely zero symptoms on DS.

EstebanTheMagnificent · 11/02/2020 11:09

I didn’t experience any at all with either of my pregnancies.

plantingandpotting · 11/02/2020 11:54

Like a period cramp. I remember being confused and thinking my period was coming early.

Sorbet18 · 11/02/2020 11:58

I too just thought my period was coming early but the cramps were more painful than usual so I took painkillers which I don't normally have to. It stopped after that though

Nowayorhighway · 11/02/2020 12:00

Mine were also more painful than I expected, they were like strong period pains.

Moongirl10 · 11/02/2020 12:04

It felt like just a regular period cramp to me.

SunnyFlover · 11/02/2020 13:08

I actually had no pain, nothing unusual anyway. I might have felt a little cramping, but it was similar to pre- period week pain, so I didn't even notice it

Happythoughts123 · 11/02/2020 13:10

It felt just like period pains but a lot lighter. I usually need pain relief for period cramps but these were totally manageable but definitely there.

ttcchapter1 · 11/02/2020 13:15

Thank for the responses, really appreciate it and wish you all heathy pregnancies :)

Please continue with responses and also let me know how many dpo you got your bfp after feeling the pains?

How are you getting on, @ttcchapter1 ?

Mummy1998 · 21/02/2020 17:12

Hi everyone hope you don’t mind if I join! Having a bit of a dilemma ! Period due in two day’s- usually like clockwork to the exact hour! However today I got some period like cramps went to the toilet and there was some brown like discharge TMI sorry. When I wiped there was a tiny bit of pink blood, then when I went to the toilet again about half an hour later there was the tiniest amount of redish blood.. could this be implantation? Should mention that when I get my period it’s usually very heavy and I’m usually doubled over in pain.. so I’m confused. Also as my period isn’t due yet technically I don’t think I’d get a positive on a test ?

Sulkypatsy · 21/02/2020 17:30

Two days before my bfp at approximately 11dpo I had normal pre menstrual type cramps, but a bit milder in my lower back, I would usually get back pain before tummy cramps during my period. Pains only lasted one night, I tested the night after the pains, bfn then the next day got bfp

Melbs6 · 21/02/2020 18:03

I had a pinching like sensation followed by a tiny bit of spotting at 5dpo. Nothing at 6dpo, and then the cramping and spotting again at 7dpo. I got my BFP at 8dpo so I think I must have implanted on 5dpo and it was just burrowing in at 7dpo.

Good luck TTC. Hope you get your BFP soon x

1st and 2nd pregnancy nothing at all that I can remember (wasn't really actively TTC but wasn't preventing so wasn't in tune with my body). Now actively TTC I had mild Af cramps 7DPO but that ended in a chemical

Belladonna432 · 24/02/2021 19:20

Where you pregnant ttcchapter1?

Curious as feeling very similar pains right now on dpo 9 🙂

Nnovember · 24/02/2021 20:55

At 8DPO in the night I felt about 2 or 3 mild pinches in down below, I had a feeling that may have been implantation. 2 days later I got a faint positive.

MeltingSnowflake · 24/02/2021 21:29

My cramps felt exactly like my period cramps - I was sure AF was on her way! They started a day or two before AF was due and continued for almost a week afterwards.

For the last two days I had them, they were around my right ovary and felt like an almost constant pressure - not like period cramps at all. I was terrified it was ectopic - then the pains disappeared and haven’t come back!

Wishing you lots of luck!!

ftmum94 · 24/02/2021 22:36

Didn’t feel anything different other than period cramps. Did a test 19 days post conception (4 days before my period was due) which was negative and got a positive test on the day my period was due.

Sorry just worked out I’m counting weeks wrong, negative test was 13 days post conception, positive 4 days later
Chelyanne · 24/02/2021 22:49

I don't remember any implantation pains with any pregnancy, just a little pink/brown spotting.
