Can’t believe it, time is going so quick!!!
My little man already feels like he is worming his way out 😂, first time for me so getting used to all these twinges and pains 😬. Anyone else booked in for a section? X

Baby Curious born approximately 8 hours after my stretch and sweep at 38+6 earlier this week.

We’re home and doing well :)

It was very quick and intense. I’ve got a third degree tear and I’ve said I would never have a vaginal delivery again!

Christ, I'm so sorry! Does it hurt? Scary! Well done though, that cant have been easy! You bossed it.

Sorry to crash your thread but this brings back such sweet memories- my little boy is 4 tommorow and I remember that anticipation and nervousness like it was yesterday! Hope all goes as smooth and pain free as possible and those who have been waiting around just remember ....they make a habit of that once born 😆

@Ilovethekitties yes it hurts but it’s bearable! I would recommend the spritz for bits spray - it’s a god send!

@Kate3150 thankyou :) it’s sore but getting better Thankyou. Also currently suffering with breast engorgement and at the moment that’s more painful!

@Kate3150 we are doing well. Settled in nicely to home and even made it out yesterday. He has lost about 12% body weight though so we are on a feeding plan which is exhausting as it's a 3 hour cycle of breast feeding, expressing then topping up. My milk has now come in though so hoping things improve fast. My milk was very slow to come in this time after my ELCS, much slower than my previous birth (EMCS).

I have started to have back pain/pressure since about 6pm not sure if it's Braxton Hicks or early labour. It's happening quite regularly every 10 minutes or so 🤞

@Ilovethekitties thank you! I'm 38+3. I had my DD at 38+5 so was hoping for similar. The pain is happening every 10 minutes still but is getting stronger/longer so starting to believe I'm actually going into labour now.

@preggers506974215 how are you getting on? Here’s hoping you have a beautiful baby to snuggle by now.

@forevercurious baby has arrived yesterday at 12.26pm weighing 7lb13. I had a water birth which i would definitely recommend. It didn't necessarily help with the pain but relaxed me so much. Hope everyone's babies arrive soon

Just checking in to say following my ELCS my baby girl arrived safely and perfectly at 39 weeks last week but not had a chance to post until today.

She weighed a petite 6lbs 6oz despite all her scans saying she would be a big girl! So all my carefully chosen hospital outfits swamped her! DH and I were shocked as we both believed she would be high percentile as she had several growth scans in the third trimester

ELCS went well and we got home the next day which was wonderful as I was desperate for my own bed and to all be together. Her big brother is absolutely smitten with her and we've had a lovely few days of being a family of 4.
