38 WEEKS 😱 How we feeling ladies?!?!

Can’t believe it, time is going so quick!!!
My little man already feels like he is worming his way out πŸ˜‚, first time for me so getting used to all these twinges and pains 😬. Anyone else booked in for a section? X

Off to see my mw soon too. Actually i better get ready. It's a teen minute walk but i better give myself half an hour.

I don't feel too positive stress moved into a good position. She was 2/5 two weeks back and she didn't feel like she's gone down, quite the opposite...

I am 39 weeks today and going in for ELCS at 7am tomorrow. It is all starting to feel very real now and I am busy getting myself organised for
tomorrow. I am so glad baby is nearly here, and I am so surprised that I have lasted to 39 weeks! Shock

This is my second child and first one was born via EMCS so hoping for a much nicer experience tomorrow with an easier recovery.

38+4 here and more than ready for baby to make an appearance now. I will actually cry if I go over 😭

@India999 I simply requested one, my midwife is lovely and knows I’m scared of going over due so is happy to do one earlier than my due date. I asked expecting the answer to be no so was presently surprised she agreed.

Is anyone on here getting Braxton Hicks? I seem to be getting them every night now. They were fairly strong last night I was actually questioning if I was in early labour.

Just a quick update to say that Baby Juice arrived promptly around 8am on Monday after a speedy induction with the pessary. Both doing well, still in hospital for now just finding our feet. Madam is currently asleep in my lap while I try to eat breakfast, having not stopped feeding most of the night.

Hope all the rest of you are doing well and looking forward to your new arrivals!!

I went to midwife yday and she said baby isn’t engaged yet.
38+5 so hoping baby gets into position soon!!

Baby boy arrived today by ELCS weighing 9lb 11oz. Everything went great and we are both doing wellSmile The ELCS was a really positive experience compared to the EMCS I had 5 years ago.

@thisyeargoodyear- Ahhh that’s amazing news for me to wake up to! He’s a big boy πŸ˜‚, did you think he would be around that kind of weight?
So pleased to hear everything went well with c section etc... How does it feel to have him here and not be pregnant anymore?
So many questions lol. Will look forward to hearing from you when poss. Sending lots of love, take care of yourself 😚

Thank you! Yeah I knew he was going to be big - he had been on the 95th centile and his estimated weight at 36 weeks was 7lb 2oz, so was prepared for a 9/10 lb baby. I was fairly shocked though when they said 9 lb 11oz, although he doesn't look this big which is good.

First night went ok - I am the only one in the ward up and about so far and just had my catheter removed as I would like to get home later today.

Good luck to everyone and I hope more babies start coming soon!

My due date today! Still no sign of baby though! I wish he would get a wriggle on, I’m desperate to meet him now!

Congrats to those who have gone on to have their babies!

I am now 39 weeks. And the car has a flat tyre so i will definitely go into labour today. Crown Grin
