Just found out we're having TRIPLETS!! Agh!!

Hi just thought I'd reach out incase anyone else is expecting triplets!

I'm only just 7 weeks, but had an early six week scan last week. The scan showed three individual sacs and three little heartbeats 😳

My sickness is awful, I'm really struggling to keep anything down!

We are overjoyed with the news of triplets, but are extremely worried as this is a high risk pregnancy !

Just wondered if anyone had any experience, advice, or in the maybe someone in the same position ! Xxx

Not in your position, I'm expecting twins and remember all too well the shock! I'm still petrified at nearly 22 weeks, but family keep reminding me that everything will work out.

Sorry I'm no help, just wanted to offer my congratulations and I hope your pregnanacy goes as well is it can. Join the Twins Trust (formally know as TAMBA) when you're ready - they will give you some good advice on raising more than one baby!

Congratulations. Triplets are so cute, my SIL is one. He is an identical twin and they have an older sister. His mum said it was hard but worth it.

Oh wow! That's bonkers, congratulations!! Is this natural or did you take clomid? Do multiples run in either of your families?

We had been struggling with infertility. I was on my second round of Clomid, with the view of moving onto IVF next !

Congratulations! What lovely news to read :) I am expecting twins at the moment so remember that shock at the ‘there’s more than one in there!’ - I know ‘high risk’ sounds scary but there’s no reason a multiples pregnancy can’t be completely straightforward (just with an enormous belly!!) - as they are all in separate sacs are they thinking they’re not identical? My twins are non-identical, I’m nearly 26 weeks now and have had a pretty uneventful pregnancy so far! Hopefully the very same will happen for you and your three babies :) Agree with another poster - TAMBA/Twins Trust are fabulous, I went to one of their workshops recently and it was brilliant.

I had twins (a while ago), and also found out early, so I remember the state of shock.

But three? Blimey!

I have another child who was still a baby when the twins were born and obviously it's hard work but beautiful too.

And you never have to go through pregnancy again, you get your whole family at once!

Also I recommend ABC buggies. They are made by Phil & Ted Green (of Phil & Ted's), but actually by them in their workshop. Or were when we needed a triple buggy anyway! Seem to be the best ones out there.

Wow congratulations! I'm pregnant with my chlomid baby and my friend is with chlomid twins but you're the first triplets I've seen on here :) so exciting!

The best asvice I can give you is take one day at a time - don't think too far ahead or it can be overwhelming. Just focus on today, today, and tomorrow, tomorrow.

Moofolk are you me?! I had a 20 month old and then had twins... also had an ABC buggy, I agree, it was brilliant (although so heavy I needed a different buggy to put in and out of the car).

The early days are craziness and even more so with triplets I’m sure, but there’s something very lovely about the madness of multiples. All the best with your pregnancy

@Helena112 congratulations- I hope your pregnancy is going well. I have triplets that are 18 months - please let me know if you have any questions and I will help in anyway I can. Triplets are hugely daunting but absolutely wonderful.
