I am looking for some positivity!
After a whirlwind surprise of falling pregnant in our first month of TTC (I’m about 5weeks currently), I am now worried this is all too good to be true. Most posts I read on here are about early scans and everyone worrying. What I need is some positivity! The fear of miscarriage keeps me awake at night (as I suffer from health anxiety) and I’m trying to calm myself with the knowledge that 75% of babies are NOT miscarried.
Any one else feeling the same way?

Hi Bluebell!
My appointment yesterday was great. The midwife was really kind and chatty and estimates me to be further along than I thought, which is nice.
I also got my scan date today- 4th April so not long at all.
How are you?

I'm glad you got a nice midwife and its not long til your scan date!

Morning sickness is not great at the moment, unless I constantly eat. I hope that stops soon or I'll be huge by the end! I keep telling myself its all worth it.
I'm having to wear loose clothes now as the bloating/eating is making me look pregnant already and I'm only 8 weeks.

How far along does your midwife think you are?

MrsF90 · 18/03/2019 11:59

Tell me about it! I can’t stop eating.. my tummy is definitely changing shape.
She thought I’m about 9 weeks 5 today. I think I’m probably less than that as my cycle is not regular. Xx

Stay positive! I'm currently 20 weeks with my first and I worried a lot too and also had the 'too good to be true' feeling. I think once you have your first scan and see baby on screen your mind is a lot at rest. I can now feel my little boy wriggle and kick me a lot and that keeps me confident 😊 good luck to you!x

Can totally relate to that too good to be true feeling! I conceived on first try, only a couple of weeks after stopping the pill, and had been expecting to struggle due to other medical issues. I didn't really believe it properly until the first scan, and felt anxious the whole way though pregnancy that something would go wrong. I'm now typing as my 16 month old is having a post toddler-group nap on me. Keep positive!

I feel the same sometimes, but I've made it to 8 weeks and I've known since 4 weeks, just relax ❤️ (easier said than done I know) xx

How is everyone getting on?
I went for my 12 week scan yesterday- were not 12 weeks yet, it appears!! Everything was perfect, just more like 10+5. We get to go back for another scan in just 10 days time! Feeling much more positive after seeing a lovely heartbeat, 2 arms, 2 legs and a brain! 😊

So happy for you 😊

I had my 12 week scan last Thursday and because the baby wasn't in the correct position, I had another one yesterday. Baby still didn't stay still long enough for the NT measurement but he/she was waving at us and trying to get his/her feet above his/her head!

I conceived in the first try as well and tomorrow I'll be at 15 weeks :) Have had very few symptoms so feeling blessed! I also initially thought it was too good to be true, but then just tried to relax into my pregnancy and everything has been going fine! Congrats :)
