Perfect Prep vs Perfect Prep Day & Night

Hi All

Just looking for some advice for the Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep machine vs the Day & Night Prep machine.

What would you go for?!

Also..... the day & Night seems to ask for the formula first before the hot shot. I thought the water had to go in first before the formula?!xx

No issues with perfect prep here, great machine. Got second hand on Facebook, twenty pounds. I see them all the time on local selling groups.

ApplestheHare · 13/01/2019 21:05

Thanks very much welshweasel

Lynne425 · 18/01/2019 14:38

Got my email to say my perfect prep is being dispatched today ☺️ xx

@welshweasel @Lynne425 I still haven't received my order. It was dispatched Saturday and I got a tracking code which still doesn't work today so I am getting really worried now 😫😫

bama4 · 22/01/2019 23:45

@Lynne425 have you received your prep machine yet? Still haven't had anything and my tracking number still doesn't work 😢

Lynne425 · 23/01/2019 07:48

Morning @bama4 I haven't received mine as yet but I'm sure someone said it can take up to 10 days to come.... I'm not sure if it's 10 working days or 10 days!

I will let you know as soon as it arrives xx

@bama4

Just received this email from them when I asked about tracking not working:

I can confirm the order has been dispatched from the warehouse however it is in transit to the UK and comes over by sea freight. When it reaches the UK and is handed over to the courier to go to the depot for final delivery to you, it is at that point you are able to check the tracking as it will then update. Unfortunately the tracking does not update instantly but takes a few days/week to update once the item is in the UK.

@Lynne425 I got the same reply but I've had my tracking since the 12th jan now so thought it would work or have even arrived by now!!

Just spied this on Baby Swan Facebook:

Company announcement - please read:

We have received a large amount of emails recently in regards to orders placed by customers who have not read our delivery terms prior to ordering. Please note the following before ordering and contacting us:

Orders can take an average of 30 working days to arrive. This is a guideline we have to give due to the way our logistics work and the prices we offer.

If you are not prepared to wait this length of time before contacting us in regards to the whereabouts of your order, please refrain from ordering. We have honoured every refund that has been requested due to customers not reading our terms prior to ordering.

Any/all allegations that have been made towards us not providing goods are false and mainly due to customers being impatient and not reading our delivery terms before ordering.

Our products are shipped in from overseas and do not arrive in the uk in single units, only in bulk therefore if a customer orders on one day and another orders in two weeks, it is likely that their order is on the same consignment.

If you have placed an order and do not wish to wait the requested timeframe, please contact us via email and we will honour your refund which will take 2-5 working days to be processed (up to 10 working days in some cases).

If you require support, please contact us via email as we only respond to general queries on Facebook and cannot discuss any order related queries through here.

If for any reason you have ordered and you have not received your order within 30 working days of receiving your dispatched email, then we are able to take it further and will again, refund you without question if required.

Please note that we have made this statement for you to refer to as we have been receiving an overload of emails asking the same questions due to a handful of people who have ordered and not received their orders within 1/2 weeks of ordering and then decide to make allegations against us.

We are a small company and are trying to respond back to your emails as quickly as we can therefore please be patient to hear back from us (generally within 24-48hrs).

Please note we are closed on Saturdays and Sundays therefore if you contact us after 6pm Friday, your email will not be picked up until 10am Monday morning.

They are on offer in the Asda baby event for £60 for anyone looking to order

Babypug · 25/01/2019 14:47

Other online forums it says this site is a scam ...

iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay · 25/01/2019 16:09

springmummy I think PP was referring to the link on the previous page which was from a facebook advert

Springmummy19 · 25/01/2019 16:13

My bad

bama4 · 25/01/2019 16:35

@Lynne425 saw that too. I'm going to just wait out the 30 days - they seem legit just a new company it seems and they have refunded people who have requested and replied to my emails. Seems a lot of effort to go to for a scam

Lynne425 · 25/01/2019 17:02

@bama I received a letter through the post today with the warranty sticker on it along with the Post Office tracking label on it from them!!

I think it'll be fine - been very quick with responses in emails too!! I'm not going to worry unless I don't have it by the 30 days!!

Just won't use it again for something I need in a hurry xx

@bama4 - just wondering if you've received yours yet..... I'm still waiting on the tracking number to become active xx

I'd avoid the Baby Swan website if I were you as if it looks too good to be true it usually is, or their products are counterfeit. They had the Sleepyhead Deluxe really cheap which is just unheard of.

My Perfect Prep is arriving from John Lewis on Monday - £60 as they price matched Asda.

socktastic · 02/02/2019 19:02

We have the big standard one too. We always put the powder in first anyway as the steam from the hot shot crusted the powder on the scoop or the rim of the powder pot. Only thing I didn't like about it was it beeped when the cycle was done. I'll use it again this time - the beeping didn't put me off that much.

PurpleFlower1983 · 02/02/2019 20:46

Apparently they used to operate under a different name, avoid at all costs by the looks of it and hopefully you’ve paid by credit card!

@Lynne425 not yet and my tracking still isn't working

bama4 · 19/02/2019 14:13

Hi @Lynne425 any luck yet? I have 3 days left for mine to arrive. Isn't looking likely 😢

BabyMummy2019 · 19/02/2019 16:08

Hi @bama4

No I've had no luck so took it up with my bank and received a refund on my credit card!!

They stopped emailing me and also the tracking code was not recognised by Royal Mail!!!

Hopefully you paid via credit card too and manage to get money back.

I had my baby 2 weeks ago so ended up buying one from Boots xx
