Sexnotgender · 06/12/2018 19:38

2 weeks tomorrow! I’ll be 35+6 and I’m bloody knackered. The work itself is fine but the commute is a killer.

Roomarmoset · 06/12/2018 19:50

Finished yesterday 😁😁 currently 37.5

CrabbyPatty · 06/12/2018 20:01

Be keen to hear more... as I've not decided yet... I'm already 31 weeks, and I know I've exceeded the official deadline but my boss says its fine as long as I give her the date ASAP.

fiadhflower · 06/12/2018 20:26

Finishing up one week before my due date. Not long now.

LittleBirdBlues · 06/12/2018 20:27

With all three of mine I finished on my due date. But I have a desk job and worked from home from 37 weeks. 😊

Si1ver · 06/12/2018 20:33

I'm going at 35 weeks. I think it's a bit earlier than I'd like, but it's going at Christmas so if I go back I'll be 37 weeks and I think it'll be better for the team and my maternity cover to start the new year together. I'm doing my handover at the minute and it's bloody weird.

carly2803 · 06/12/2018 20:42

36+2

I am on my feet 50 hours a week - im knackered already - few more weeks to go!!! :D

Lynsey19 · 06/12/2018 20:48

Next Friday for me! I’ll be 36+5! Can’t wait 🙂

Starsong82 · 06/12/2018 21:05

2 weeks tomorrow, I'll be 36+5 on my last day and if I wasn't already doing half days would struggle to make it that long!

StargazyDrifter · 06/12/2018 21:08

Hello, sorry to barge in, I'm only 9+2 but have been thinking of when I might finish a lot already. Wondering about taking a lot of accrued A/L before due date and going off 9 weeks before EDD. It would work project-wise in the office and I would also be keen to do a couple of family/personal things - but would I be too tired by that stage and is plodding away at work on autopilot and taking this extra leave at the end better? Would be very keen to hear more about how you're all feeling c31 weeks. 😊

WhiteWashGails · 06/12/2018 21:11

I must say say I look up to you ladies, I’m a hairdresser and I left at 23 weeks I couldn’t do it any longer.
I wouldn’t have gone back to the job after a year so I just left and living off savings

snowone · 06/12/2018 21:11

Feb half term for me, I'll be 38 weeks. It seems like a looooooooooooong way away right about now!! Confused

LeeCee · 06/12/2018 21:14

35+3 and finished up in the office today. Going to do three more days working from home then annual leave for the run up to Christmas.

No idea how people keep going until their due date Shock I can't wait to finish!

Daffodil77 · 06/12/2018 21:17

@KittyMcTitty I finish next Friday too. Really wish it was tomorrow though. I'll be 37+1 next Friday. I've got nothing important to do next week though which is good.

I have a desk job but a 1.5 hour commute each way.

Nolagerformethanks · 06/12/2018 21:20

I left at 32 + 2, maternity leave didn't start till 35 weeks (last saturday) I just had leave that needed to be taken, I felt fine when I finished and did think I had gone to early but this past week I have been getting a lot bigger and more achy, my job involved being on my feet for long shifts and I don't think I could cope with that now so I do think it was the right time for me too finish. It's definitely a personal choice depending on what kind of job/hours you do....

newmumFeb17 · 06/12/2018 21:22

Last time I finished at 32 weeks due to some health issues. Hoping to finish at Easter this time round, I'll be 37 weeks. I work long days on my feet for most of it as well so I know it gets so much harder near the end! But I did feel that I finished a little too early last time so hoping to stay busier for longer, although that's inevitable with an almost 2 year old 😂

Yakadee · 06/12/2018 21:40

16th of Jan and I'll be 37 weeks - can't come quick enough! X

MissMoodyMoo · 06/12/2018 21:41

I'm 27 weeks and have SPD my annual leave starts in January and maternity kicks in in February!! I'm so fed up already! 13 hour shifts are killing me!!

KittyMcTitty · 06/12/2018 22:08

Thanks everyone - it’s nice to know what others are up to!
I finish a week on Tuesday and I’ll be 36 +3 - expecting baby anytime between 37-39!
I’m only going to then as I have an appointment and want to be paid for that! Every penny counts!
I have an office job but can’t wait to just sit down at home!
I’m glad I got all the big jobs out the way as even though I feel ok it suddenly hits you!
I’m taking holiday then start maternity officially in January.

I definitely couldn’t manage a 13 hour shift! Baby is 3/5 engaged and pushing on every nerve going - I can just manage the ironing!

Im curently 37+4 finishing next sunday a week before my due date! Cant wait!

mortifiedmama · 06/12/2018 22:25

33+5. 11 working days, but only 8.5 days in work. Taking 16 days annual leave then mat leave starts at 36+5.

Last time I went on annual leave at 36+5 and went in to labour at 38 weeks. It was not long enough! Wanted a proper rest this time.

Heartofglass12345 · 06/12/2018 23:03

I was a rubbish pregnant person, seriously! I wanted to work as long as I could. Realistically I couldn't stay awake! The first time I had been suspended for a couple of weeks before he was born, I was due to go back on the Monday I would've been 30+5), and he was born on the Monday!
The 2nd time I was more tired than the first. Literally used to fall asleep in the middle of the day! I took 4 weeks leave in October, my maternity leave started beginning of November and he was born the 2nd week of November at 33 weeks!
