I have just over a week to go! It feels a week too long but I just need to get on with it!

How about you???

Tomorrow at 38+4. I’m bloody knackered 😂

GroundhogWeek · 07/12/2018 07:58

Just before Christmas when I will be 32 weeks. The way the dates work out with the Christmas break and some leave I need to take Mat Leave won’t actually kick in until 36 weeks.

Ohdofeckoffdear · 07/12/2018 09:22

I’m going 3 days before my due date 😂 I’d go on my EDD but that’s a Monday so I didn’t see the point in coming in for one day

SuperVeggie · 07/12/2018 19:50

I've got two weeks left and I'll be 34+5. I probably wouldn't have gone so early but it's Christmas and my work close from 21st-2nd and then I'm booked for a c-section less than 2 weeks later at 38 weeks so I figured no point in going back.

I'm glad I've only got 2 weeks left though - I'm totally exhausted!

LittleDoveLove · 07/12/2018 20:21

I'm due currently to finish at 35 weeks as I'll prob have a C section at 39 if he doesn't arrive before. I am debating going to 36 weeks but I'll decide when I'm a bit closer to see how I'm feeling with the commute. I don't have any leave to want to try and keep up my fill pay as much as possible but my hospital is an hour away from where I work so am a but nervous about going too close to due date in case of early arrival!

I had no rest at all with my first as I came early. This time round I’m taking annual leave and hoping to finish at around 35 weeks.

Cloud9889 · 09/12/2018 19:39

I'll be about 35 weeks going off with baby #3 but that's because I work in a school and so have Christmas off anyway so am going off then but my maternity leave won't start till about 37weeks when I would have been due back at work- I have an office job so feel ok but also was overdue by 2 weeks with previous two so don't want to go off too early

emma911030 · 09/12/2018 20:18

I plan on working until 36 weeks however I'm currently 29+3 and struggle some days with working already.
I'm a health care assistant on a busy hospital ward and do 13 hour days that's not including the 40 minute journey to and then 40 mins from work each day. I only do 3 days a week but it's a real challenge.
Lots of people keep telling me ( because I'm not actually going to be getting paid mat leave from work cause I've not been working there long enough) to get signed off sick for the remained of my pregnancy/or at least work up until Christmas then go off. It's really tempting cause it really is a struggle with previous pelvic injuries too I'm not sure how I'll cope Sad

Friday ShockShockShock

Can't quite believe it, I thought it would never come around. I'll be 36 weeks and using holiday until after Christmas when maternity leave will kick in x

avacadooo · 10/12/2018 14:24

I'm intending to leave as soon as I can, I think I've worked it out to 27weeks then I've got four weeks a/l so 23 weeks, but I'm a carer and my job was knackering before I got pregnant nevermind dealing with raging morning sickness I have now..😔

TheCag · 10/12/2018 17:05

I finish this Friday! Will be 37 weeks exactly. Could have done with finishing a week or two earlier tbh.
