help! sister bleeding 7 weeks won't go to docs

As it says, my sister is 7 weeks and has had some bleeding, she says not huge amounts, red yesterday, brown today, but she won't go and see the doc, says they won't be interested (have told her they will!). Think she's afraid it might be bad news and is postponing the evil moment, IYSWIM. She's been trying to conceive for years (and had given up, polycystic ovary syndrome) so this is a surprise baby.
Help, what can I do?

edam I am so happy for your sister, it is such a worrying time when something like this happens.
I remember my first scan, DS looked like a little kidney bean beating away - truly amazing, especially when I look at him now crawling around.
Best wishes to you and your family.

I have suggested the wonder of MN to her but she's been too sick to move, poor thing -can't even sit in her rocking chair (despite sea bands, etc. etc.).

THANK YOU again!

and thanks Aloha! Poor little sis, has been soooooooo sick. So the combination of bleeding and stopping being sick really terrified her. Then she started feeling sick again ... and then saw the scan and was ecstatic. My mother was with her, and said she just lit up ? usually you'd say somone's face lit up with my sister's whole body did it .

HC, sorry, got distracted by work (strangely my employers expect me to do some instead of whiling away my days on MN). Hope you are having a lovely time up there, any news yet on the move?

Pah, edam, work - seriously over-rated.... Did I tell you we're not moving. dp got into a fight with one of the interviewers. Enough said...

edam · 02/09/2004 22:16

Noooooo!!! Not enough said, either, btw. Have to go now, Dh is being very forceful about the fact that I asked him to make me have an early night tonight...

Am on home email tomorrow (my working from home day), if you email my work address you should get an out of office assistant reply giving you my 'Friday' address.
