i did enjoy our meal last night and i took your advice and had a nice pud ....hummmmm banoffee pie lol

well today ive been to the midwife
for the past week my blood pressure has gone up
today it was 130/90
do you have any experience of this
do you know when do they start thinking of admitting you to hospital ?
or giving you medication to lower bp ?
or inducing you ?
will i still be able to have a water birth?
im having it checked again 1st thing tomorrow last week it was 130/86
im not really feeling stressed or at least i dont think i am !!
also ive just noticed on my notes shes written 3/5th
last time it was 4/5th so shes going down !!!!

hows the potty training going ?

just had another stressful day !
you know i said yesterday my bp was high well i had to go se mw at 845am
it had gone up again to 134/98
protein +2

they did blood tests got the all clear and they said this is what they use to decide if its Preeclampsia
funnily enough when i got to the hosp labour ward my bp went down to 120/78
which is a bit odd considering all the screaming women in there !!
and the fact that although i was trying hard not to feel stressed, i was a bit

i would of though it would of gone even higher!
im glad of course it didnt and i didnt have to be induced
gotta see mw again thu for bp check
one of the machines they wired me up2 showed i was actually having contractions !!!!!!
id just put this down to baby moving alot!

they said if your bp is high or you get induced you wont be able to go in the pool its hospital policy. but they did say the pool helps to lower bp but ur not allowed in it if u have high bp
everything has to be a ok to go in pool

so hopefully my bp will stay down and the labour will start anytime now [dr said it could happen anytime and baby is ready] naturally and i can have my water birth xxxxxx

they where very nice to me at the hospital bless em xxx

also u know i said last wk babys head was 4/5 on mon it was 3/5 and today its 2/5

just got out the bath ahhh !!!
im feeling quite relaxed now
had a nice meaty steak for tea to get my iron levels up and to give me energy!

id say that the potty trainingsounds like its going excellent
it must be lovely to see your child grow and develop esp when there so pleased and happy and proud of themseleves bet thats lovely

i cant wait for the baby now im def ready
i keep thinking wont be long till shes in my arms and not in my tummy hitting me allday !!and night
my mum said hold on to that thought!
shes on holiday at the moment doesnt get bk till sat think she might miss out

yeah im trying to keep an open mind about the birth you are so right all that matters is the baby and i are ok reallyx
and as one of the drs put it to me really the main aim is to have both a live mum and baby and anything else is a bonus !
she said this is quite a matter of fact way but i wasnt upset because shes right
suppose they get a bit pissed off with people saying i want this i want that going in with thre birth plans etc

its a bit like we are given too many choices and then if it doesnt go how you want it too your gonna get upset or feel like a failure!or that everything went wrong
my plan is just for baby and me to be safe and well as possible
and if i get my water birth ill b really chuffed if i dont and end up having instrmental or section, well it might take a few weeks to get ovr it but i will x
and if bf doesnt work out its not the end of the world
wow i am feeling good!

im not suprised so many people get pnd
with all the pressures on you

ive had the baby !!!

saskia asher was born tue 27th at 1250 noon
water birth
weighing 8lb 5 ! at 38 weeks !!
i managed on just gas and air

the birth went really well

but had alot of problems after
had 4th degree tears
torn right though my spinghter muscle !!
i did so well at the birth even delivered the placenta without drugs naturally and bf feed while waiting

then to find out i had serious damage
and then i had to have a spinal tap and operation
for these major repairs
i was crying my eyes out

ill be back
toilet emergency

im doing ok im still in quite a bit of pain
but that toilet accident was just a one off thank goodness
i really hop i heal soon just want to get on with njoying my precious little baby

we are doing quite well ....i think!
saskia seems to have one goodnights sleep then one bad nites sleep
good night= goes sleep 12 wakes up 4 an hours feed about 330 then sleeps till am
bad night means she wants bf from 9pm till5am !!
oh gosh didnt ralisehow tiring it could be dh said put her on bottles so she sleps longr but i really want to keep bf so she can be as healtthy and well as poss
my aim is at least 6 weeks ideally 4-6months

how is potty traing going?

im still really rally sore getting a bit fd up not feeling 100percent well to be honest but know i need to be patint

did u go to work on sat ? was it a bit busier than last time?
we ar still doing well
had a v tiring night last night saskia wouldnt stop feeding till 3am
then got up twice in the night to feed and im feeling quite tired
had a visit this am from hv who seemd quite nice and just told me to sick with it and if she wants feding from 9pm till 5am just to do it
she explained that at the momeent my milks like semi skimmed and by day 21 it will be lik full fat
i hadnt heard this b4
but sounds good to me
that hopefully by 21 my milk will satisfy hr more
we are on day 13 now i think!
so only a wk to go
i do find it quite hard to do laying down though

im still feeling v sore but the surgeon did say it would take me at last six weeks to get over it so i have to remind myself to be patient
my mw came yesterday and looked at my stiches she said it looks fine but took swabs to be sure
and make sure the repairs are not infected

your story bout thorpe park made me laugh you could only get with our bloody english weather drenched and burnt on th same day

im ok its our 1st day just us 2
im a little scared dd is asleep at the moment but stiring a little
im still going with the bf
just finding it hard at times when my mum and aunts all tell me to put her on bottles none of them bf so i dont think they know what they are talking about
mum comes out with unhelpful comments like youve been feeding her for how long?
that would never of been allowed in my day !!in a really pissd off voice
and that she didnt have enough milk and am i sure i hav got enough ,milk
then my aunt goes you wanna get her on bottles
luckily my dh is supportive
and thinks im doing well
your encouragement really helps
ive sent dh out to get Lansinoh because that seemed the most popular choice and still a bit too sore to go into town due to the 4th degree tears and repair op think im getting better v v slowly

how old was your friends prem dd ?
