Hi all! I'm 34 weeks due on 6th October with my my first - little boy Smile struggling with names though, DH and I have a list but have decided to wait until he's born to actually pick one.
He's been kicking me in the ribs all morning so feeling fed up at the moment Hmm

Bring on October!

@Sophwalms just make sure you take a day at a time if you are having csection. Like i say the whole procedure was fine in fact was relaxing but i underestimated what it would be like after, my hubby was off for two weeks and i did feel like i tried to jump back into doing everything i did before and the midwifes told me off as although by day 5 my scar was healed internally it takes alot longer! I actually didn't have any feeling in my lower stomach it was numb for two years once it started healing which is quite common but i'd say try to do little as possible the first two weeks. Xx

Hi again ladies. Hope everyone is well. Its becoming so difficult to sleep, I'm 34 + 5 and having to prop myself up with a mountain of cushions.

Oh girl nappies are so much easier I hear so I wouldn't worry about thatGrin im just afraid of getting wee'd on each change with a boy!

I ordered some bits from My Expert Midwife today as i had a 3rd degree tear last year so need all the prep and relief I can get! Anyone have any prior experience of this?

Sophwalms · 30/08/2018 21:18

The amount of times I undid my sons nappy and was weed on in the face oh the joys lol!! I tore last time so I'm hoping I don't this time the recovery from it I had no idea about. Xx

I'm due on October 17th. I'm 33+1 and so so heavy now.. i'm getting done with this pregnancy now just want my boo here. Having a little boy x

laurenluke2017 · 13/09/2018 10:18

Hi everyone I thought I would join in. I'm 35+1 due Oct 17th. My son is breech so it looks like a C-section for me. Hope all you ladies are well. 👍🏻

Anm4 · 13/09/2018 11:40

@lauren, hey im 35+2 with little boy although 4th baby.. my last birth was a csection as my daughter was breech, wanted a vbac this time but with medical history and previous csection its safer for me to have a repeat so find out date next week for it. Not worried but feeling this pregnancy now, how are you coping? X

laurenluke2017 · 13/09/2018 12:06

@Anm4 Hi Anm4 my son is also breech, so we are in talks regarding a caesarean as I do not want the EVC to try and turn him. I am a first time mum i'm so excited my partner and I just cannot wait! Not long for the pair of us to go now.

I am coping okay, the days are getting harder as I am getting heavier. I have a dead leg today as he is laid in a funny position, and constantly kicking my insides and down below! How are you coping? X

Anm4 · 13/09/2018 12:18

My csection was very relaxed last time so I'm ok with the decision to have another but was a bit stressed regarding it last week as had some mixed opinions but other than that pregnancy has been ok. I've had extra scans due to raised arteries in placenta but all is well so far, i have also had lots of stabbing pains below but his head is in and out of pelvis, it does send my leg into spasm though but the end is near now its gone very quick. I can't wait to meet him x

MermaidTail7 · 13/09/2018 12:25

Hi All, hope its OK to join in.. I'm currently 34+1 with a due date of 24th Oct although I am expecting to go over. I was planning to work until 38 weeks, but have just agreed I'll be starting my mat leave at 36 and a half weeks which I am really pleased about.. I'm feeling OK but I just want to be able to concentrate on me and baby before s/he arrives rather than work!

Anm4 · 21/09/2018 15:58

36+3 today, had consultant yesterday they will be doing csection at 38 weeks, to confirm the date but she put down 2nd October so 11 days! Have to go for pre-op and steroids at some point next week when they've rung to confirm exact date. Had to go in to be assessed monday as his heart rate was really high but it settled, they scanned and he was estimated 6lb 9oz at 35 +6. How is everyone getting on? X

Meganc559 · 21/09/2018 16:02

Due October 16th too! I've been having twinges of pelvic and thigh pain here and there and lots of braxton hicks the last couple of weeks. Also have to go the the toilet about 5 times a night now, so thinking this little one is engaged!!! Good luck everyone we're nearly there now. Smile

Peanut91 · 22/09/2018 04:47

Well my little boy made an early appearance on Monday afternoon weighing in at 5lb2.
My waters broke on sunday out dog walking and it all kicked off from there! He ended up needing assistance coming out as got stuck so had episiotomy and ventouse and feeling rather sore now but completely worth it for all the cuddles now!

Sophwalms · 22/09/2018 07:29

Oh my god congrats!! Hope your ok and the little one is doing ok zx

Anm4 · 22/09/2018 09:51

Congratulation @Peanut91. Hope you're both well. @Sophwalms am terrified as i know it's a section again, not that it was bad i actually met with the surgeon who did my daughters one the other day but i think it's just the lack of control! Hope your dizziness passes. X

Sophwalms · 22/09/2018 10:09

@Anm4 yes I'm ok today thank you. I think sometimes I overthink and get myself in a state. Just not knowing what's going to happen and when. Xx

Anm4 · 22/09/2018 14:39

I get like that its frustrating, I've cleaned through and washed all the bedding today, baby is being quiet so going to see if sitting down for a while will get him shifting! He was in my back on thursday the consultant could just pick up his heartbeat so with the anterior placenta i think thats blocking his movements little monkey! X
