C section today

I'm abserloutly petrified. Second c section, I'm up and shaking. Hardly any sleep, I'm worrying like mad. I know i get to meet my baby today but the thought of the actual operation and the spinal are making me feel so sick and scared. Anyone else having their baby today?

Tbf today i am managing without pain relief, sleeping in my own bed instead of sofa and i am really mobile. Midwife has been this morning, scar is fine. Baby is doing really well. May get out with the 2 year old today x

Bless you OP. I’ve had three, two emergency and one planned. HUGE difference between emcs and planned. Planned was beautiful. Look forward to meeting you new little bundle x

Thank you all. She is perfect. They forgot to do her hearing test though so have to go back to hospital next week. Hoping thats ok as she doesn't startle or wake to loud noises when asleep i have noticed. 2 year old has just had a massive melt down and nothing lol xx
