Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
PregnantGrrrl · 10/05/2007 08:22

worth a try if you're full term...have you had one before? I had one with DS...felt like she was trying to feel my tonsils by going in the wrong end! Worked though- my waters broke that night, i had DS by the morning!

Well at least the toothache will take the edge off the labour pains

Seriously, there is no harm in asking. If your body isn't ready it won't work anyway.

ggglimpopo · 10/05/2007 08:24

Go for it summerfruit.

Bonne chance!

whomovedmychocolate · 10/05/2007 08:24

Good luck btw!

Good luck! xxx
Why won't they extract the teeth anyway? Anaesthetic is usually safe and I'm sure the blood loss wouldn't be dreadful...
Only asking as I have tooth issues atm as well, I really hope you get it all sorted and over with as soon as poss!

lulumama · 10/05/2007 09:44

sounds like you are on the way if you have had a show, a sweep might just kickstart things.,good luck xxx

Oh Summerfruit, I can sympathise, tooth pain can be the WORST can't it. I'm sorry to hear the midwife won't do a sweep. Hope you get things started the natural way... enjoy

A whole pineapple, lovingly peeled and cut into chunks with some strawberries and a dash of orange juice. Eat alone in front of tv directly from large bowl from small spoon. Worked for me!

Princesspowersparkle · 10/05/2007 13:10

Go and drive really fast over speed bumps- bump your LO out!
Apart from that the age old pineapple, curry, monkey business etc. Good luck hon- hope your baby comes soon!

Summerfruit - you can try clove oil on a bit of cotton wool, it really does numb the area (for the toothache I mean, I suggest LARGE QUANTITIES OF ALCOHOL for the labour!)

LilRedWG · 10/05/2007 13:57

And I'm guessing he doesn't need to be "covered by law".

megandsoph · 10/05/2007 14:03

I don't see why not

Just wondering why you can't have an extraction? I have had two during this PG

whomovedmychocolate · 10/05/2007 14:06
