10 weeks and no symptoms

Hi everyone.
So I'm 10 weeks today and no symptoms. Have a scan on weds but still can't help worry.
Just looking to hear from others and what there outcomes have been like.
I know everyone's pregnancy is different and not to worry before anyone says this (no offence intended)

Is this your first pregnancy? Everyone is different. Some people are so lucky and have no symptoms. fWIW, I've had three pregnancies with strong symptoms and one with hardly any that ended in miscarriage at 8 weeks.
But I've had friends who have no symptoms and very healthy pregnancies!

Hiya. Please try not to worry (easier said than done). Some people find that symptoms disappear round about then when the placenta kicks in. With my first pregnancy I had random bleeds between 7 and 8 weeks. Was scanned at 7 and 8 weeks. Good healthy heartbeat, perfect size and growth for gestation period. Plenty of symptoms. No bleeding between 9 and 10 weeks but plenty of symptoms. Scanned after another bleed at 10 weeks. Baby had died at around 8 weeks, probably in the day or so right after the 8 weeks scan. My symptoms kept up and I had no clue at all. So there really is no way of telling what is going on and a lack of symptoms is common and unlikely to be an issue without other problems such as bleeding or cramping.

Here to hold your had until Wednesday though. I have just found out I am pregnant for the 4th time. Still no living babies (2 and 3 were lost a couple of days after finding out I was pregnant). So 5 weeks today and facing 7 weeks of hell before I can even mentally class this as a pregnancy.

Hello, I'm 10+3, with twins, and have had next to no symptoms... literally a bit of tiredness, sore boobs occasionally, and nauseas during the morning but only physically sick4/5 times. I had a scan Thursday and all was okay, I've been worried that things seem so okay when there are two in there, but I'm starting to think I should just be grateful and count myself lucky... It is terrifying as you'd rather be being sick in a way just to confirm it but, I'm sure there's lots of other little things happening to you that you've not even been thinking about. I have been burping a lot, sneezing, gone off some foods (salads and cereal/milk), a lot more discharge, belly is starting to get a bit more solid. I feel fine but there are lots of little signs when I look and think about it. I'm an extremely anxious person, and worried everyday, so here to talk if you need! Xx

Thank you both for your replies. It is my first pregnancy hence all the worry, and not knowing what's normal or not ect. I suppose only time will tell and we will see on weds.

None at all here, and I'm now 28 weeks.

Thank you aswel salsa. That makes me feel better, like you say you'd expect more symptoms with there been 2 little beans in there! Glad to hear all is well for you.
And your probably right there will be slight changes that I'm not noticing much. I do seem to of gone off coffee actually, and get slight nauseous if I haven't eaten in a while: but no actual sickness. Once I've had the scan weds and all is ok I'm sure I will deffo be thanking my lucky stars for no sickness ect! X

Hi Dangle, I'm currently 15 weeks and I've had very few symptoms here this time, just a little bit tired and a couple of days of sore boobs. No sickness, no food aversions, nothing. If it wasn't for the scan pictures of my little bean and not fitting in my trousers anymore I'd say I feel totally normal. I can understand how some pregnancies go undetected for months now!

Conversely I was pregnant last year and sadly had a MMC at 10 weeks, I was sick, I had terrible sore boobs, the whole works and that little one didn't make it. I just don't think there is any corrilation between a healthy pregnancy and symptoms.

I do understand however however how nerve wracking this is, I'm glad you've got an early scan, not long till Wednesday, just anther couple of days to go.

I'm also 10+3 today and been feeling exactly the same for the last 10 days or so ! Had a scan at 9+3 and everything was ok but it's so hard not knowing what's going on in there ! I haven't been sick at all was really naeseous between 6-8weeks! Other than that not really noticeable symptoms ! I have to wait another 2 weeks today til my next scan to see if everything's okay it's going to be a long 2 weeks !!!! Best of luck with yours weds xx

Thanks ladies. Hearing from you does help. Just goes to show it really can go one way or the other. It's weird been so nervous and excited for the scan. I will keep you posted on how it goes. I also can see how pregnancies go undetected now. good luck to you both too :)

Spring chicken, the waits are awful aren't they!

I've had a mix of lots and no symptoms ... both ended up with healthy pregnancies and babies
Also had strong symptoms which ended in mmc - try not to worry

Watching this thread also - I'm 8+3 weeks and have hardly any symptoms apart from slightly sore boobs. I've been to the doctors and I will have my second lot of bloods taken to see what's going on in there. It feels like I'm making this pregnancy up or its all in my head so I'm very anxious to know the results.

Hopefully this is normal for us both - good luck for Wednesday !

Yeah I'm the same user It doesn't feel real at all. Everyone says to think positive but it's always niggling at the back of your head isn't it

I had none, no symptoms at all until I was about 5 months and a bump appeared! Wouldn't have even known I was pregnant before then (if it wasn't an obsessively planned, OPK'd, tested every day pregnancy). I didn't believe I was pregnant until the 12 week scan.

He was almost 9lb born and is now and strapping, bouncing 6 month old. It's bloody awful when you want symptoms to affirm to yourself that you actually are pregnant but please try to relax and enjoy it.

Don't worry I was exactly the same! No sickness or nausea at all. Did about 5 pregnancy tests (all positive) and the no symptoms made me convinced it was all a big mix up up until the scan (now 19 weeks ) x

Thanks ladies I have had terrible headaches for the past 3 days not sure if that is a symptom or not. Nice to hear your positive stories. Just one more day now and then I will know for sure

Headaches are for me anyway. Only 1 day left to go.

Are they Brenna? Mine have been awful start off in the morn and gradually get worse throughout the day and end up like migraines. I know 1 more sleep!

I was just celebrating a relief from mild nausea at 11 weeks, after a month or so of feeling fussy! which inevitably led to me wondering if everything was ok. Then I let myself get too hungry and the nausea returned so that's good I suppose. My scans not for another two weeks and we're holding off telling most people until then as it's first pregnancy and we're a bit twitchy.

We've already told close family as we had a family wedding abroad they would of just put 2 and 2 together otherwise with me not drinking. It's our first too you've done well not telling anyone lol. While we were away I had the nausea when not eating for a long time but nothing since

I'm in a similar situation dangle. I am 8.5 weeks pregnant and have had no symptoms at all. This is my second pregnancy, and I was trying to remember when I started to feel sick with DS and I actually think it wasn't until a bit later, 9 or 10 weeks. I remember being really tired with my first pregnancy, but I think now I have a toddler my default position is tired anyway so perhaps I just haven't noticed it as much this time round?!

I also have an early scan tomorrow, which I have been worried about given my lack of symptoms, but it's nice to hear from other people who have had very few symptoms at this stage.

Peanut, it's hard isn't it, like I feel tired but I work in the hospital and I'm on my feet all day so I can't remember if I'm just always this tired anyway. It's hard to decipher wether it's just in your head or not. Aww what time is your scan tomorrow? I don't think I'm going to sleep tonight! Then I have to wait all day tomorrow until my OH finishes work then we will be going

Mine is first thing tomorrow morning, 9am. So definitely a sleepless night tonight, but at least I don't have to wait long tomorrow! I knew I wouldn't be able to concentrate all day at work so thought I'd just book it first thing and get it done, hopefully it's good news.

@dangle90 oh I told my mum and dad at about 6 weeks :) but I figured i'd tell them if it didn't work out so it was fine. Boyfriend only told his mum a couple of weeks ago, he's not told his Dad yet. That was slightly tactical as if she'd found out after anyone else there would have been trouble. He's the one being particularly strong on holding off.
