25 weeks today. Got diagnosed with GD the other day. Trying to eat heathy food and am constantly starving. Off to diabetes clinic on Monday to see whats what.

Will be glad when baby is safely delivered.

Bluebellevergreen · 18/02/2017 07:17

40+5
The worst I have felt in my entire life
Pray you dont go overdue because it is massive BULLSHIT

ememem84 · 18/02/2017 07:49

7 weeks. Exhausted and may have a bit of a tummy bug. Or it may be hormonal. Whichever it is I'm spending today resting. And drinking copious amounts of water.

beachsands · 18/02/2017 07:56

26+4. DH thinks it's going quick. I don't. Feels like an age away til May. it's 7.55am and both my DCs are still asleep. It's the little things like this keeping me sane at the moment Smile

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 18/02/2017 09:01

15+1 here which means it's now less than 9 weeks until viability!! Smile

Just over 9 weeks until I won't need a coat & people will see the bump Confused< gulp, rather than confusion. If one person says ANYTHING other than congratulations/ how lovely etc about this baby I will not be responsible for my actions ('tis dc 5, people certain family seemed to think they could say whatever the hell they wanted, no matter how impolite with dc3 and the 4 Angry)

Midwife on Monday so I'm looking forward to the possibility of hearing a hb.

hopsalong · 18/02/2017 09:05

Bluebelle, I like your turn of phrase. Keeping my fingers crossed that there will be no next week for you!

I went to 41.5 last time and thought every day of being overdue was purgatorial, from the 9 1/2 lb baby compressing my bladder and lungs, to the mounting anxiety about labour / placental failure, total insomnia, fear of going any distance from home, constant unwanted curry and pineapple and sex, and never-ending nosy phone calls and emails...

Frillyhorseyknickers · 18/02/2017 09:17

No one warned me about the constant worry, the obsessive googling of everything, that my neurotic side would well and truly be unleashed.

Do you get to enjoy it more after the 12 and 20 week scans or am I destined to be a neurotic anxious worry wanker until September?

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 18/02/2017 09:21

Errr...well I'm on my 5th Frilly & find I worry more each time. It gets slightly better for me after week 24 & oddly the one thing I've never worry about is labour. Problem is the further you get different worries take over. Then they're born & you still worry about them. I don't think you ever stop!

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 18/02/2017 09:22

Do step away from google though! It told me I was going through the menopause. I was just 21 at the time & expecting dc1 Hmm

ememem84 · 18/02/2017 09:31

I went to my gp the other day who was lovely. She told me not to worry. About anything. I mentioned I was concerned about labour even though it was so far away.

She said there's nothing I can do about it. It has to come out so stop worrying. Just to remember to breathe and to think about the baby at the end. Easier said than done when you've never done it before but she's had 6. So....

HellsBellsK · 18/02/2017 09:41

13 weeks today and I'm on day 5 of a migraine - i feel like chopping my head off!

Iv also stepped away from google - I am to much of a worrier.

ememem84 · 18/02/2017 10:06

Oh gosh hells poor you. I had one on tues night. Had to make myself sick to make it go away. Sad went to my gp thurs morning (had appt anyway) and I checked and can take my migraine tablets. Hooray! Although she recommended I didn't take the ones i already had as they were out of date and has represcribed.

Jellybabie3 · 18/02/2017 10:17

Blimey some rough stories on here....feel like i have a long way to go!! Sorry to those struggling.
9 weeks today (yay) and I'm really struggling to drink. Its the first thing i think about when i wake up.....what the hell can i get down my neck today? Water makes me wanna gag. And squash is so god damn sweet. Had a cup of coffee so thats my caffeine intake done for the day too Sad

Jelly have you tried sliced lemon (or any fruit really) in your water or sparkling mineral water? I'm craving ice cold water with lemon but if I don't put the lemon in it sets my sickness off Hmm

Jellybabie3 · 18/02/2017 10:23

No but good idea i may try it. I know it sounds ridiculus but im now scared to try much for fear i feel bad.....yesterday i had vimto that a colleague brought me (also doesn't know im preg) i drank it and then felt shocking for the rest of eve 😟

I'm all about cranberry juice at present. Watered down with Icey cold water. Or tonic water.

ememem84 · 18/02/2017 10:35

It's sharp enough to stop the sicky feeling and is more of a "fancy" drink than just water.

Jellybabie3 · 18/02/2017 10:42

Is there a limit to how much fruit juice we can have? So if im drinking OJ and cranberry through the day?

UnbornMortificado · 18/02/2017 11:05

It's the tiredness that's getting to me. I miss coffee and Diet Coke.

Letsgetreadytorumbleagain · 18/02/2017 11:57

38 + 5

Feel like crap! Tired, nauseous and uncomfortable but absolutely no sign of this baby coming out!

Plus I'm being a terrible mum to my poor DS, as I don't have the energy to do anything with him :(

Letsgetreadytorumbleagain · 18/02/2017 11:58

Jelly I lived on peach squash ( quite weak ) it was the only thing I could drink...

ememem84 · 18/02/2017 12:20

I've just had humous and tomatoes on toast. O. M. G. So good.

OuchBollocks · 18/02/2017 12:30

I liked cheap apple juice, the kind that has barely seen an apple.

SelfObsessionHoney · 18/02/2017 12:35

Tonic water is my new best friend.

Lunalovepud · 18/02/2017 12:36

I have found my people!

15 weeks with DC2 here and I am another woman who DOES NOT enjoy pregnancy. Where is my glow? I never had a glow! I want one!

Instead of a glow, I get boobs so massive and painful that I am terrified of anything touching them, constipation that goes on for days and days, mood swings that give my poor DH whiplash and a craving for sushi that will leave us bankrupt by the end of the second trimester. Wink

I know I am extremely lucky to me pregnant and I am grateful for my beautiful DC1 and excited to meet DC2, I just wish I could skip to the end and have the baby already. Wink

I'm off to find a chocolate hobnob.
