Has anyone else experienced period pain without BH, i am 35 wks tommorrow and already went to hospital in pre-labour a couple of weeks ago, hospital gave me steroids and a drip with stuff (don't know the name) to stop contractions, but for the last 2 days i have got period type pains (only in front though not in back so much) but they don't come with the bh, i have had some show but not big blobs, just like when you have a cold (sorry if tmi), any-1 with advise please.

Hi all, only had one bout of sickness and dirrhea last night feel fine today had midwifes app. she said it sounds like something i ate, but all weel otherwise.

CAN I ASK YOU GUYS - have you all been checked for dialation and effacement (sp?) cause as you know im now 36+4 and havn't been checked when do they start checking, i thought because i had already been in pre-labour they would have checked me by now and my next app. isn't for another 2 wks.

no need to be checked at this stage

you are not full term yet , and if your pre labour stopped then no need to check you now, as this was a few weeks ago, IMHO

not really necc until you are 40 + weeks....it is unlikely you are dilating and effacing at this point, and if you aren;t it is more disheartening, better off just pottering about, waiting for baby and relying on your body to just get on with it!

see what you mean lulumama, am still trying to keep legs crossed so i guess i can just try to ride out the last couple (or more) weeks, am not doing a home birth but if anything should happen i will (or hubby) will post till last minute, will be fun to try and chat while it's happning.

37 weeks is classed as full term, could be any time now, or not until 42 weeks !

so rest up, take it easy, eat and drink well, have long baths, take walks and just chill!

and keep us posted !

It would just be my luck now with all thats happend to this pg that i go full to 42 and have to be induced, but at least the thought is now i only have a garenteed 5+3 wks or less left, not that long really
