Anybody still pregnant after heavy bleeding?

Hi everyone.
So I was just wondering if there are any of you who had been in a similar position to me. I found out I was pregnant last week after 16 months of TTC. Then almost immediately after finding out, I started to spot. The spotting got heavier and there were clots the next day and period like cramping. This lasted 3 days. It's now stopped. I did go to the doctors on the first day of bleeding and he said to prepare for the worst and come back in 2 weeks if things don't get dramatically worse. I am too early to scan only being 4 weeks pregnant. So 5 days after my first test (which was a faint positive followed up by a digital to confirm) I did another test. This time the line is much darker. I'm holding on to hope that this means I'm still pregnant. I know it's a long shot but I just can't help it. I'm currently on holiday. We arrived 4 days after bleeding started. I can't quite relax with not knowing plus I swear I have morning sickness as everything is making me feel sick.
Anyway. If there's anyone that's experienced similar and was still pregnant please let me know.

Hi! Just wondering how everything went with this pregnancy. I’m experiencing the exact same thing and I’m a nervous wreck. My appointment is not until 8/23 it’s 8/7 today

Hi, I’m also trying to stay hopeful but I don’t know. I would’ve been 10 weeks pregnant Monday gone when I started bleeding and had really bad abdominal pain, spoke to doctor who was quite dismissing and said I’m having a miscarriage and can’t do anything. Later on went to out of hours surgery again only to be told the same thing. Had my midwife appointment yesterday who’s arranged for a scan on Friday. I’ve more or less accepted I’ve had a miscarriage but some of these comments are filling me with hope 😔 .. do I have hope? My periods were due on Monday which just happened to be the day I started bleeding, I did have clots bleed through however since then my bleeding and cramps have calmed down. Midwife was lovely and supportive and said to wait until the scan.

Hi all I wanted to see if anyone is going though or has been going through what I have this past month! I'm 12 weeks pregnant (3rd baby) and I have had heavy bleeding the past 4 weeks had 3 scans now baby is fine but they can't find when the bleeding is coming from and say not to worry its quite common? ive had cramps passing clots the lot its really worrying I've had 2 misscarages I know what to look out for so I'm constantly on edge it baffles me where is all this coming from! Its gose from light to heavy past few days have been bad 😔 any advice welcome thanks x

I just wanted to see if anybody has experienced anything similar. I’m currently 15+6 pregnant.
Last week I started feeling quite uncomfortable tbh I put it down to trapped wind or constipation. Yesterday I started bleeding quite heavily, I filled two pads completely within an hour I’d say. I was bleeding for the rest of the day but it wasn’t as heavy, I was in pain all day but subsided in the evening. I woke up this morning I’m still bleeding but more like a light period. I was pregnant last year which resulted in still birth at 16/17 weeks so I’m super anxious with this pregnancy.
I haven’t been to the hospital as of yet as I feel if I am losing this baby there’s nothing they can do at this stage to prevent it, I haven’t lost my mucus plug and my waters haven’t popped, that I know of. I haven’t been to the hospital yet as last time I was back and forth constantly over a two week period, constantly being checked internally, scanned and being put on monitors to which I could hear a health heart beat and all scans showed a beautiful and healthy baby moving around. It was so traumatic, I’d rather not see or hear any of that this time if I can avoid it.

Has anybody experienced anything like this and their baby survived?

Hi has anyone done a clear blue digital test when u miss period it says 1 2 would that be right does anyone feel hot inside the tummy too I had an esrly loss in Feb my lines on my test in Feb were dark to start then they went faint my clear blue test also stayed at 1 2 just some advice would be nice thanks

Hi, sorry, I know your post was from a long time ago but just sounding exactly like my current situation. I've had a couple of very early miscarriages in the last year. Am now about 6-7weeks pregnant and have had a big bleed. Started light on Sunday night, and then it's on and off light to heavy. Sometimes brown. Sometimes bright red with clots for 3 days now. Given my history the OB has put me on progesterone to try sustain this pregnancy but will do an ultrasound next week to see....when you say you had a big bleed at 6 weeks, was it also over the course of a few days or just a one off big bleed? Bright red with clots too at any point? Hope the rest of the pregnancy went smoothly :) Thanks
