Bella sorry to hear about dad , hope he's ok when he's been fixed sure dd will be fine, she'll just sleep as normal, just remember if you need to stop, ensure its a moto services, as best for baby stuff/comfort etc.

Sorry to hear no joy this month Munz - me neither, despite af being 3 weeks late! Guess the bf is still having an effect on my cycles.

Sorry to hear about your dad Bella - hope he's okay. Yes I expect Tabitha will sleep all the way. dd managed to sleep well at night in the car when we got stuck on closed motorway a few months ago (took 7 hours to get from Manchester to Worcester).

All good here - appear to be teething (only have 2 teeth at the mo), but eating is getting better thank goodness (will update my old thread later if you are interested Munz).

Lots of walking now - I definitely have a toddler rather than a baby. Can't believe she will be a whole year old in a couple of weeks .

Debating what to do on sat here, dh has invited 4 of his mates over, not sure they'll appreciate our 2 girls crawling all over them during the afternoon, might go out myself, what do you guys think?

Nice idea Debs, but the kids ended up with me I juggled them for a bit, then took them for a walk, before feeding and bedding them, sigh, just one of those moments when dh needed a lads day, never mind, I'm storing up amo for my girls weekend away/spa day

Well tell dh its his turn next to have the children, so you can have your time too.I had a lovely long bath yesterday and watched a film it was lovely,started splitting bf now with formula so ds gets used to it as im packing it in after 8 weeks once he has had his injections that will be it i always said i would do it for as long as i could but i have had enough now,its not satisfying him enough and when i give him formula he has btweeen 5 and 6ozs and settles a lot lot more plus my right boob constantly hurts no matter how much lasinoh i use,and dh also needs to get more involved with ds instead of me doing it all the time {angry}

ah yessss Debs, the reality of parenting eh to be fair, blokes do see it as being hard to get involved when we're BF tho, they feel a bit pushed out you see, what was once their sole territory is now being acosted by baby 24 hrs a day or at least that's what it feels like eh I agree it is much better if you can give them a bottle and let them crack on with it, I used to insit dh did the 10/11pm feed for a spot of bonding

Frizbe also lurking been to A+E with DD for her breathing again... so as yet not been to bed[well I did at 12.30am then dd2 woke at 2am and that was it]Dh is in bed so will go and swap with him in a bit as DD1 is leaning on me looking a bit tired..although Ds as per usual is a hive stop of activity...arghhhhhhhhhh

Frizbe she is fine just need the nebuliser as inhaler wasnt working. Although she is still wide awake and of course DD2 is fast asleep upstairs with Dh...typical..lol

We had a good natter, and it was great to finally meet after 2 years of almost daily conversation here and on MSN.

It was a really good afternoon out and my girls came home and flaked out! They were so tired!

Shame I couldnt meet up again yesterday morning as planned, but we are all full of colds here and just wanted to get home to our own beds!

well thank you jarm - spose i'd best say something nice back now! leeme see, right jarm is well she's a weirdo who talks funny, the LO's are real odd balls! and have curly hair! lol.

(only kidding hon!) they're a lovely family,. incl the MIL/SIL althou I did try to talk to the MIL (I think it was) and she didn't talk back so I didn't try again lol. could welll have been some random weirdo thou! both girls (well jessi inparticualr) was v poliet, and little boo has a lovely mass of curly hair! (hoping j's goes curley) J waz all tuckered out as well - lol. fell asleep in the car on the way home and then wouldn't go to bed! lol. still not to worry DH ahd my dinner done so wasn't too upset! lol. (the talks funny bit still stands thou! lol. well like my old neighbour from norwich that's who you reminded me of - I kept looking about expecting to see her pop up! lol)

thing's arnt' too good here, J's teething is v v bad - althou it could also have been cos I went out last night (how norty of me to want a few hours away from him! lol) anyhow won a chicken dinner a the bingo which was good! lol. the teeth are really playing him up now and he's got another set of jabs on monday which tbh i'm going to reschedual, as DH is away and as I say last gnith he was really bad, today he's not right - better but not right. anyhow best get off to my ebaying

Back down south after visiting my parents.
Tabitha was fab, she slept so well on the journey and then slept like an angel at my parents, was so chuffed as was a little nervous.

My Dad is out of hospital but is very grumpy and I felt very teary leaving them to come home, wish I lived nearer!

Arh, nice to hear of some of you meeting up, would be so nice if we all lived close and we could meet up every now and then!

I know its flown by he has his injections on friday not looking forward to that,and have i mentioned ive got a trip to te hospitalmyself as this blasted lump on my leg hasnt gone,had it since i had ds so got to have a scan incase its a bloodclot.Munz hope you dont have to bad a nite.
Bella it would be lovely if we could all meet up sometime we must make the effort after all we have all known each other for over 2 yrs now.Glad your dad is getting better. xx

Oooh hope everything is ok with the lump Debs, don't worry about the jabs ds will be fine which reminds me must sort out the single ones for dd2, as we gave dd1 singles instead of mmr, better get dd2 on the list now she's 11 mths

Debbsy - hope jabs go ok. We have 3 today which I am not looking forward to - 3 all at the same time just seems so excessive!!
Will be glad when they are all over for a while at least!

Yes I too am a northern lass - however when I was at my Mum's I answered the phone to a friend of my Mum who said to my Mum that she presumed I was her daughter as she recognised the London accent!! mmmmm.....would seem after 13 years in London is having an effect after all !!

Snow tomorrow...........bit excited, shame Tabitha is not old enough to appreciate it yet.
