Sorry for ignorance im a first time mum,and really arent 100% sure.
on thurs i had loads of pain in my lower back like period type pain then my whole bump would go rigid and feel like a vice around it.Yesterday i have had nothing then this morn from 5.10am i have this rigidness again with a bit of backache but i have been having them since 5.10am say every 12 mins or so.But they keep making me trump [blush}

back from midwives im having effacement pains labour should follow gave me internal cervix still closed said that doesnt mean anything and can change very quickly it really really hurt so after having no sleep im going to lie down as still in pain.

have a good rest...won;t be long

try a visualisation of the cervix smoothly opening and baby coming down , ready to be born....

did she say the cervix is soft?

yes its written in my notes soft and posterior had a bit of brown blood this pm still lots of pain thats why im not posting pain is horrendous.

Well ladies here i am again thanks for good wishes but bibby didnt want to come last nite..
got to hospital as still contracting every 5 mins they agreed i was in established labour put me in a progress room.with a ball beanbag mat etc after 7 hours i was still contracting at 5 mins v painful but they werent getting any closer together,so for te sake of dh (who hasnt slept since 1am yesterday morning) i asked them to examine me cervix very soft but only just about open so they gave me some pain killers after i asked to go home.So here i am in early labour just waiting for lo to decide whwn he wants to make his grand entrance he clearly does not want to be rushed.Sort of glad he didnt come last nite really as isaid to dh i was far to tired to even try to push a bibbles out.xxxxxxx
Will keep you all posted but hopefully it wont be too longs now as everything seems to be heading in the right direction still got pains today so doubt ill be around very much.
