ok are these contractions

Sorry for ignorance im a first time mum,and really arent 100% sure.
on thurs i had loads of pain in my lower back like period type pain then my whole bump would go rigid and feel like a vice around it.Yesterday i have had nothing then this morn from 5.10am i have this rigidness again with a bit of backache but i have been having them since 5.10am say every 12 mins or so.But they keep making me trump [blush}

I am still waiting, but have a rotten cold fluey type bug thing so am pretty pleased he isn't wanting to shift just yet! Hope all is well at your end? >

morning ladies im still here spoke to hospital at ten told me to get some rest and ill probably labour over nite, no such luck just got period pain in my back thats all ,lost no more fluid.Mw told me not to worry it will be anytime now.And i slept like a baby only woke up once at 5 then straight back to sleep till 9 this morning. I did a lot of bending and carrying of a toddler to start mine off!

jr been bending a lot today leaning over cleaning windows and bath got a bit of a telling off from dh for bending over the bath lol

as it is, I don't think there is much you can do to "bring it on". It will start when ready, try to rest, you are going to need your strength.
ohhhh so exciting, best of luck, will be watching the announcements.

feeling really uncomfy again

try to relax...baby will come soon....nipple stim can help ...but if waters have gone..it is a sign things are moving anyway.....try to reserve some energy for labour....

don;t worry....relax today and ignore the fact it is EDD!! see if you can book a last minute pedicure or manicure ! xx

lulu had one done last week mum and aunty are coming over later so that should give me something to do.

been having regular contractions sinc 1am down to 7 mins now waters have gone pretty sure as had 5 wees in an hour all clear water and 3 that i couldnt stop.Pain got that bad couldnt even post on here thats why this is so late,spoke to hospital had tens machine on wait till 5 mins apart lasting for 40 secs.
contractions from 4am were like this

4.33
4.44
5.03
5.07
5.26
5.36
5.41
5.46
5.51
6.05
then 9 mins lasting 33seconds
then 6 mins 48 secs
then 6 mins 43 secs
then nothing for 1 hr 38 mins
now just got period type pains seeing mw at ten had no sleep feeling knackered
So now what surely if this was labour the contractions wouldnt have stopped?

it all sounds promising..esp if your waters have gone...the midwife can check you out....you need to try and rest, reserve your energy as baby won;t be long......! a lot of women have pre labour ..lots of pains, 'is this it?' , and it takes a few days to really get going...all the contractions you have had will have done something....started to dilate and thin the cervix hopefully..so don;t feel it is for nothing..it all helps ! rest and let us know what the midwife says. x

debbsy sounds like def pre labour, wait until they get dead regular and last for longer
since knowing you on the TTC threads I am SOOO excited for you honey pie.
