Apparently only 5% are born on due dates. The general consensus is first babies are ALWAYS late, so just wondering......

TheTravellingLemon · 08/07/2015 17:06

Born on due date Smile

sarkymare · 08/07/2015 17:06

My first came 8 days before my due date. I had no signs of labour that I was aware of and was completely shocked to wake up during the night with my waters breaking.

WorldsBiggestGrotbag · 08/07/2015 17:07

6 days after due date. Currently a day after due date with second.

Pyjamaface · 08/07/2015 17:08

DS was 8 weeks early

OhEmGeee · 08/07/2015 17:09

11 days early.

OhEmGeee · 08/07/2015 17:10

Although full term is from 37 weeks, so a due date is a bit irrelevant really.

lilac3033 · 08/07/2015 17:11

On her due date!

Quinandthem · 08/07/2015 17:12

10 days late

Sparrowlegs248 · 08/07/2015 17:14

Ooh in the first 9 posts its 3/3/2!! Surprising!

shushpenfold · 08/07/2015 17:14

2 weeks early....waters broke in a service station!

Sparrowlegs248 · 08/07/2015 17:15

I know the due date is irrelevant but i can't help but focus on it.

And I should add to that....the midwife said first babies are always late too!!!

Spotsondots · 08/07/2015 17:16

13 days after EDD, although I was never convinced the date was that accurate...

OldBeanbagz · 08/07/2015 17:16

DD was 5 days late.

LastOneDancing · 08/07/2015 17:18

DS was 3 days early but I was convinced I was 2 weeks further along than they said.

LamppostInWinter · 08/07/2015 17:18

4 days early. I think it's just pot luck!

thatsn0tmyname · 08/07/2015 17:18

Both late, 10 and 12 days. My calcs were more reliable than the scans which bumped each due date back 5 days.

Lonz · 08/07/2015 17:18

My son was a month early at 36wks. But according to the hospital he was term. Okay, I'm the only one here that knows when I conceived! I was in a long distance relationship. What!

Sparrowlegs248 · 08/07/2015 17:19

4/5/2

I am not convinced about my edd either. Its moved back by 10 days! And i know when my lmp was and that we only dtd days 8 + 10.

DS was born around 37 weeks. I agree with the others who say due dates are a bit pointless - DS was DEFINITELY fully cooked at 8lb 1oz and I dread to think what size he would've been if he was late!

Jazzle37 · 08/07/2015 17:22

1 week early, based on LMP...

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 08/07/2015 17:23

I was a first baby and was 8 days early :)
